摘要： An escalator or moving walkway comprises a balustrade base, an illumination profile disposed in the base and a transparent cover through which illumination is provided. An illumination strip is located within the illumination profile, and has a plurality of LED lamps. A reflecting surface is provided on the illumination profile, and is aligned such that at least a portion of the light emitted by the LED lamps impinging upon the surface is reflected in the direction of the cover, facilitating an even level of illumination.

摘要： In some embodiments, a secure authenticated remote boot of computing device over a wireless network is performed in a pre-boot execution environment (PXE) using active management technology (AMT) for remote discovery. In these embodiments, a management engine (ME) may maintain full control of a wireless interface and a wireless connection as booting begins. The ME may relinquish control of the wireless interface after a PXE timeout, in response to a shutdown command, or once the device has booted. The ME controls the use of an operating system received from a remote location.

Displacement of the valve takes place when a cam (9) is lifted and when a hydraulic force applying device (12) is lifted. A piston (13) of the force applying device can be displaced from a first end position (A) to a second end position by feeding a hydraulic medium, which can be pressure-adjusted, from a hydraulic medium line (24) into a pressure chamber (21). The pressure chamber (21) can be connected to the hydraulic medium line (24) via a shut-off element (20) which is open towards the pressure chamber (21) and which is arranged in the housing (15) and also by means of at least one passage (26) in the housing (15). The passage (26) is at least partially blocked by an external casing surface (16) of the piston (13) in the first end position (A) thereof.

摘要： A drive train for vehicles is provided, having an internal-combustion engine, to which a flange of a transmission housing is flangedly connected. A crankshaft of the internal-combustion engine is connected by way of an intermediate element with a drive flange of a torque converter of the transmission arranged in the area of the flange. The drive flange of the torque converter is screwed to the intermediate element via several connecting screws arranged in a distributed manner along a circumference of the intermediate element. Viewed from the transmission in the direction of the internal-combustion engine, the connecting screws are screwed at an angle diagonally toward the interior into the intermediate element. The intermediate element has a central part, which is made of spring steel, is elastic in the manner of a cup spring, and has several radially projecting spring arms.

摘要： An escalator or moving walk has a drive arranged in a reversing area. The drive drives chain wheels that move the step band or pallet band and include a motor, an axial gear, a first hollow shaft and a second hollow shaft. The motor drives a belt to drive a gear input shaft that runs coaxial to the first hollow shaft. Arranged at one end of the gear input shaft is an operating brake; the other end of the gear input shaft is connected to the axial gear. A first flange connects a first chain wheel to a truss. A second chain wheel is arranged at one end of the second hollow shaft; the other end of the second hollow shaft is connected to the housing of the axial gear. A second flange connected to a side plate serves as a torque converter bearing for the axial gear.

摘要： An electrical connector arrangement for connecting electronic devices to one another. The connector arrangement uses tensile members and compression members, at least the tensile members of which act to provide both an electrical connection between electronic devices and force over a range of distances to hold the devices together. The tensile members provides tensile force acting to hold the electronic devices together while the compression members provide an opposing compressive force over a range of distances which balances the tensile force to thereby form a cellforce connector used to connect an array of electrical contact points on one electronic device to a corresponding array of electrical contact points on another electronic device.
