A stepper motor is also connected with the mounting plate and a controller is connected with the mounting plate stepper motor and the hook and bobbin combination stepper motors such that movement of the mounting plate and the hook and bobbin combinations are controlled by the controller.

    摘要： A hook module assembly for a tufting machine is provided that allows for broken and damaged hooks of a level cut loop tufting machine to be replaced. The hook module assembly includes modular blocks having a series of slots in which level cut loop hooks are received. Locking mechanisms secure the hooks within their respective slots in the modules and allows for removal of individual hooks from the module as needed for repair and replacement.

    摘要： The apparatus allows to automatically change bobbin cases in quilting machines. The apparatus comprises a pick-up element which is mounted on a carriage which can move between a magazine which contains full cases and a hook assembly of a sewing machine in which an empty case is to be replaced. The pick-up element extracts the empty case and deposits it into a specifically provided container. It is further positioned at the magazine, from which it removes a full case and transfers the case into the hook assembly.

    摘要： An automatic bobbin changer for sewing machines includes a cylindrical container for housing a plurality of bobbins in a circular array such that the uppermost bobbin may be utilized by a standard sewing machine in a conventional manner, a cycling mechanism for rotating the cylindrical container about its longitudinal axis to move a new bobbin into an operative position, a clutch-brake device positioned between a drive motor of the cycling mechanism and the sewing machine drive for declutching and braking the main drive of the sewing machine while the bobbin cylinder is being cycled and for disengaging the brake and reengaging the clutch after the bobbin has been cycled to resume sewing, and a control system for counting the stitches sewn from a particular bobbin and for actuating the cycling mechanism after a predetermined number of pieces have been sewn with a predetermined number of stitches in each and simultaneously operating the clutch-brake device.
