    Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for fast downlink beam switching assumptions related to quasi-colocation are provided. For example, a method can include determining whether a reported downlink reference signal corresponds to a reference signal, based on a spatial reception parameter corresponding to channel conditions and supporting beamforming, with a resource set that is configured to a user equipment with a tracking reference signal parameter. The method can also include interpreting a downlink reception parameter based on the determination regarding the reported downlink reference signal. The method can further include controlling at least a receive beam or a transmit beam of the user equipment based on the interpretation of the downlink transmission configuration indicator state.

    Abstract: Disclosed is inter alia a user equipment, comprising means for: —receiving, from a network node, a first configuration for at least one uplink reference signal to be transmitted through at least one respective antenna port of the user equipment, wherein the first configuration comprises a first set of resource blocks over which the at least one uplink reference signal is to be transmitted; —determining whether sufficient power headroom is available at the user equipment to compensate for at least one first insertion loss to be incurred within the user equipment by the at least one respective uplink reference signal transmitted according to the first configuration; —if it is determined that sufficient power headroom to compensate for the at least one first insertion loss is not available, transmitting, to the network node, a re-configuration request for the at least one uplink reference signal; —receiving, from the network node in response to the re-configuration request, a second configuration for the at least one uplink reference signal associated with a second set of resource blocks over which the at least one uplink reference signal is to be transmitted; and —transmitting, to the network node, the at least one uplink reference signal according to the second configuration through the at least one respective antenna port.

    Abstract: This document discloses a solution for performing radio configuration testing. According to an aspect. a method in a terminal device comprises: receiving. from a network node. a request for performing a radio configuration test for selecting operational parameters of the terminal device for a radio connection of the terminal device. the request comprising at least one information element indicating a target performance metric and at least one information element defining limitations to the operational parameters available for the radio configuration test: performing the radio configuration test by testing a plurality of different combinations of operational parameters of the terminal device, within the limitations received from the network node. and determining a performance metric of each of the plurality of different combinations of tested operational parameters: causing transmission of a test report to the network node. the test report indicating at least a combination of tested operational parameters that provides a performance metric closest to the target performance metric; and after transmitting the test report, receiving from the network node a radio configuration defining a set of operational parameters of the terminal devices selected by the network node for the radio connection.
