摘要: A composition having at least about 10 percent perfluoroalkylsulfonamideoethyl acrylate; at least about 5 percent aliphatic urethane acrylate oligomer; at least about 1 percent acrylate monomer; and less than about 84 percent other reactive and non-reactive components. The composition, with the addition of a light absorbing pigment, is particularly useful as a light absorbing adhesive in an optical element such as a rear projection screen that incorporates totally internally reflecting structures to disperse the light passing through the screen.

摘要: Time domain data in a measurement signal and in a reference signal are converted to frequency domain data. The reference signal and the measurement signal are then multiplied and the resulting product data converted to delay domain data. During the correlation process, the frequency of one of the signals, such as the reference signal, is varied. The frequency of the reference signal may be adjusted a predetermined number of times, and each of the resulting correlated signals examined. The frequency that produces the strongest correlation is selected. Alternatively, the frequency of the reference signal may be adjusted until a correlation value for the correlated signal matches or exceeds a threshold value. The frequency that first results in a correlation value that matches or exceeds the threshold value is selected. The frequency of a signal may be adjusted in integer and fractional amounts.

摘要: A temporary decal comprising a porous paper base coated with a water-soluble slip layer (e.g., dextrin gum) on which offset printing inks are directly imprinted using a high speed lithographic press. The inks are printed in a designated area only, in a desired image. A clear spot coating, preferably of an aqueous material, is then printed over the image area only. A contact adhesive is then spot printed over the image area of each decal, preferably using a silk screen press. A removable cover sheet, such as a silicone-coated sheet, is placed over the contact adhesive of each printed sheet of decals to keep the sheets from sticking together. The spot coating acts as a protective layer that keeps the contact adhesive from migrating to the surface of the decal after the finished temporary tattoo is applied to the skin. Without the spot coating, the surface of the decal would become sticky to the touch and the decal would come off faster because of friction with the surrounding environment.

摘要: Communication across domains is described. In at least one implementation, a determination is made that an amount of data to be communicated via an Iframe exceeds a threshold amount. The data is divided into a plurality of portions that do not exceed the threshold amount. A plurality of messages is formed to communicate the divided data across domains.

摘要: A search engine discovers and indexes applications in a search index and receives queries from devices. The search engine is configured to obtain contextual data describing context associated with the devices and/or social networking data associated with one or more users of the devices. Based upon the contextual data and/or the social networking data, the search engine modifies the query and executes the query to identify applications. The search engine generates search results corresponding to the identified applications. The search engine also is configured to generate advertising relevant to the modified query, and to rank the search results in accordance with the query, the contextual data, and/or the social networking data. The ranked search results and the advertising are presented to the client as search results and/or in a web store format. Activity of the client and the search engine can be tracked and reported to authorized entities.

摘要: Technology is described for local ad targeting. An engine executing on a client computing device may select ads based on rules that can be modified without modifying the engine. The engine can select from advertisements stored locally based on data discovered at the client computing device, such as by observing the user's actions, stored documents, state of the client computing device and/or its peripherals, etc. The technology can employ plug-ins to extend functionality provided by the engine. The technology can include a plug-in manager that manages plug-ins. The technology can also download and manage rules. Each rule can specify what actions to take, such as when an event occurs. When a component of the operating system observes an event, the engine (or a rule executor component associated with the engine) executes each related rule. The technology can thus select ads based on arbitrary events of the operating system, applications, or other components.

摘要: A system and method for automating the web service selection based on reputation information, to help negotiate a contractual web service binding between a client and a server. Reputation information may be schematized into behavioral attributes such as web service responsiveness, web service latency, web service uptime, cost data, business solvency and other trustworthiness and business-related data. Some of the reputation data may be empirically determined, and provided by an independent or other trusted auditor. In one implementation, a client queries a search engine, which returns a ranked list of web services, with the ranking based on reputation scores computed for each web service as collected by an auditor. Clients may provide computational data to weigh the attributes separately. A corporate internet can maintain reputation data for web services to act as an auditor, and a web service server can also execute trusted code to act as an auditor.
