摘要： An animated action toy for young children and the like includes a doll having a hollow body with a head having a face with a mouth and movable lips. An air bladder is mounted in the doll's body and is interconnected to move the lips in response to changes in volume. In addition, an electrical speaker is carried in the body of the doll to provide sound animation. The doll is associated with a remote telephone handset which includes a microphone and a handle portion which includes a lever for activating a fluid pump. An elongated flexible connector is provided between the doll and the handset and a pneumatic tube is included in the connector for communication between the pump and the air bladder with an electrical cord provided for interconnecting the microphone in the handset and the speaker in the doll's body.During play, the handset is held in the hand like a telephone while speaking into the microphone and actuating the hand pump. This results in moving the lips of the remote doll as the sound animation is provided by the speaker in the doll's body.

摘要： A figure toy adapted to change its posture upon impact includes a central body or mid-torso portion having an upper torso or body portion and a lower torso or hip portion pivotally coupled thereto. The figure toy further includes a bistable, force-applying element that pivots the upper and lower torso portions relative to the central body portion upon impact to the figure toy. The figure toy further includes a pair of arms, pivoted to the upper torso portion and a pair of legs, pivoted to the hip portion, which are actuated by the force applying element. A launching device is provided including a biased figure toy mounting platform which is held in a prelaunching position by a latch. The latch is depressed by a selectively actuable element to release the platform and launch the figure toy. A second launching device is disclosed which includes a figure toy mounting platform pivotally coupled to a base. The platform includes a device for holding the doll onto the platform until the platform is pivoted through a predetermined angle by an actuating element, whereupon the figure toy is released.

摘要： The invention herein described is an articulated figure toy in the shape and form of a four-legged animal, particularly a horse. The neck and head of the figure toy are movable with respect to each other and relative to the body by means of rotary frictional joints. The four legs are pivotally movable by way of three rotary frictional joints per leg. The leg joints are located at the ankle, knee and shoulder or flank areas of the animal permitting simulation of various natural positions. The neck is made of a soft molded plastic providing a capability of side movements with manual urging. Additionally, the head is anchored by a rotary frictional joint to the neck and the neck is anchored at its opposite end by a rotary frictional joint at the body to permit position retentive movement.
