摘要: A method for coding three-dimensional (3D) data, and more particularly for coding geometry data included in the 3D data. The method includes: generating a bounding box including a vertex of the 3D data based on information included in the geometry data; dividing the bounding box into a plurality of partitions having an equal size; identifying a number of vertices included in each divided partition; appointing a divided partition as a leaf cell based on the identified number of vertices; and coding the geometry data using information on the dividing of the bounding box, information on vertices included in each divided partition, and information indicating the position of a vertex included in the leaf cell, when a divided partition is subdivided.

摘要: A color setting apparatus and method for a system for reproducing multimedia data are provided. The apparatus includes a color setting controller for displaying a closed curve band divided into at least two equal-sized sections each containing a different color, and a setting band having at least two sections for indicating change of a set value of each of the colors on a screen, and for changing the set value of a selected color and displaying the changed color according to the changed set value on the screen. The color setting controller increases or decreases the size of the section for indicating change of the set value according to the set value.

摘要: A method for photographing a panoramic picture, and for identifying motion of a photographing apparatus to automatically photograph respective images of a panoramic picture. The method steps include: (a) obtaining a first image in response to a request for a panoramic picture photography; (b) identifying motion of a photographing apparatus having obtained the first image, by applying a motion estimation technique to currently input images; (c) automatically determining a photographing direction based on the identified motion of the photographing apparatus; (d) selectively applying a motion estimation technique for estimating motion in a horizontal direction or a vertical direction, according to the determined photographing direction, and identifying motion of the photographing apparatus; (e) judging photographing time points of respective images by identifying that the identified motion of the photographing apparatus has reached a preset threshold value for decision of the photographing time point; and (f) photographing images at the photographing time point of the respective images.

摘要: A panoramic picture photographing method permits more accurate photographing of an image, particularly a panoramic image of a subject, without additional equipment, or separate devices and hardware. The method includes projecting an image, which is successively inputted in every predetermined unit of time, to an imaginary surface having a same focal distance in photographing each image constituting a panoramic picture to obtain a projected image; confirming movement of a corresponding photographing apparatus so that the projected image is compared with a previous image in real time by using a motion estimation technique, to which exposure correction has been applied; determining a photographing time point of each image by confirming the confirmed movement of the corresponding photographing apparatus according to a photographing direction has reached a predetermined critical value; and photographing each image at the photographing time point of each image according to a passive input or automatically.

摘要: A method of realizing images in a portable display apparatus including a camera module and an LCD monitor includes the steps of: converting three primary lights, which are realized by the camera module, into a first tri-stimulus value; converting the first tri-stimulus value into a second tri-stimulus value through a color gamut mapping of the first tri-stimulus value for the LCD monitor; and converting the second tri-stimulus value into three primary lights for images the LCD monitor is configured to display and then transferring the three converted-to primary lights to the LCD monitor.

摘要: A face recognition apparatus and method using plural face images includes detecting a reference face image from an image input for registration in advance, calculating plural face feature information from a frontal face image if the detected reference face image includes the frontal face image, generating plural compared face images using the calculated plural face feature information, and determining whether the input face image matches the generated plural compared face images by comparing the input face image with the plural compared face images. Face images having diverse points of view are generated through single user registration, and thus the face recognition ratio can be heightened.

摘要: A low power display and a method for display in a display device having an Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diodes AMOLED panel are provided. A display window that includes content to be displayed on the AMOLED panel is determined. Luminance values of pixels constituting the display window are grasped. The pixels having luminance values that are to be adjusted are determined in accordance with a distribution degree of pixels having luminance values that are larger than a reference luminance value. The luminance values of the determined pixels are changed to the reference luminance value, and the display window is displayed on the AMOLED panel with the changed luminance values.

The method includes determining ambient light of a mobile terminal and controlling background color and character color of a character image according to the determined ambient light. The method may further include performing an additional control according to the types of displays when controlling the background color and character color. Through this, it is possible to display a character image with enhanced visibility, while minimizing current consumption.

摘要: Disclosed is a method of photographing a panoramic image, the method including the steps of: checking if a configuration of each scene constituting the panoramic image is arbitrarily set whenever each scene is photographed; outputting a photographic guide screen on a preview screen, the photographic guide screen overlappingly displaying a guide image of a previously photographed scene and displaying an indicator indicative of a position of a current scene; storing a corresponding photographed scene as a correspondingly numbered scene when a shutter key is input during the outputting of the photographic guide screen; and checking if a predetermined direction key or a completion key is input, determining that all scenes are photographed, when the completion key is input, and considering the frame to extend in an up-and-down direction or a right-and-left direction and proceeding to the step of outputting the photographic guide screen, when the direction key is input.
