    摘要: An optical system having an iris controlled in real time and a control method of amount of light thereof. The optical system includes a light source, a light modulator modulating a light emitted from the light source to a certain image, a driving part controlling the light modulator to produce the certain image and outputting luminance information of the certain image, a projector projecting the certain image, a screen on which the projected image is formed, a projection iris controlling an amount of light projected from the light modulator onto the screen, and a iris controller receiving the luminance information of the certain image from the driving part and controlling the projection iris corresponding to the luminance information of the certain image. Since the opening range of the iris is controlled in real time, the contrast ratio (C/R) is improved.

The image forming apparatus includes an illumination system including a light source; a color separator separating beams irradiated from the light source into separate colored beams; at least one light-path converter bending the beam irradiated from the light source upwards; and a display device processing the incident beam in response to an input signal and forming a color image; and a projection system enlarging and projecting the color image formed by the illumination system onto a screen, wherein an optical axis of the beam emitted from the light source and an optical axis of the beam reflected by the display device are disposed by the at least one light-path converter at different heights such that the illumination system and the projection system extend to be narrow in a widthwise direction and long in a lengthwise direction.

    摘要: In a method of manufacturing a non-volatile memory or other semiconductor device, a control gate made of conductive material is formed in a more uniform fashion. The method includes forming a silicon layer on a buffer oxide layer on a semiconductor substrate. After forming the buffer oxide layer, a stopping layer is formed. The control gate of conductive material, such as a floating gate in an EEPROM memory device, is provided by patterning the silicon layer, gate oxide layer, and the substrate, and then, a trench is formed in the upper portion of the substrate. Uniformity is achieved by oxidizing the sidewalls of the trench to create bird's beaks at both upper and lower portions of the control gate material. Then, a field oxide layer that fills up the trench is formed. Because bird's beaks are evenly formed at both upper and lower portions of the control gate material during oxidation of the sidewalls of the trench, it is formed in a more uniform fashion since achieves uniformity is attained by preventing the sidewalls of the floating gate, for example, from having positive slopes.
