摘要： The sheet separation apparatus for separating a transfer sheet from a toner image bearing photoconductor for use in an electrophotographic copying machine comprises a plurality of separators which are rotatably mounted on a shaft arranged parallel to the photoconductor, and each of the separators is independently urged into pressure contact with the surface of the photoconductor by a spring member through a control member which is substantially integral with the shaft. In one embodiment of the sheet separation apparatus, the control member serves as a protector for preventing toner particles from being scattered from the surface of the photoconductor and in another embodiment of the sheet separation apparatus, the shaft can be turned about a predetermined point of one end portion of the shaft in the direction that the other end portion of the shaft can be moved away from the photoconductor for easy maintenance of the sheet separation apparatus.

摘要： A tape cassette having a head-receiving housing region provided with an independent guide block which contains a plurality of tape guides, further comprises a pair of thick spacer plate members disposed, respectively, between the guide block and the upper and lower half housing sections of the cassette. The spacer plate members are made of a material suitably chosen from among metals, metal-plastics composites, carbon fibers, glass fibers, composite reinforced plastics containing mica or other reinforcements, and the like. They have a plurality of irregularly shaped apertures or positioning apertures each which receive posts formed in one piece with the upper and lower half housing sections of the cassette and are fixed in position with the posts by caulking. The guide block has portions with which to press the thick spacer plate members securely against the respective half housing sections of the cassette.

摘要： A disc cartridge and a casing therefore capable of carrying out insertion and removal of a disc with respect to the casing without separating a shutter from the disc cartridge and adversely affecting the disc, with simple operation. The casing includes a casing body constituted by an upper cover member and a lower cover member joined together to form an inner space therein which is adapted to rotatably receive therein a disc having a non-recording section formed at its outer periphery and be separable at rear ends thereof from each other. The casing also includes a pair of guides arranged on both side of a rear portion of an interior of the casing body so as to be opposite to each other. The guides permit insertion and removal of the disc with respect to the casing body to be safely accomplished along the guides through the opened rear end of the casing. The disc cartridge uses such a casing.
