摘要: A sheet processing apparatus includes a stacking device for stacking a sheet, a delivering device for delivering the sheet to the stacking device, and a pulling device for pulling in a direction opposite to a delivery direction the sheet delivered to the stacking device. The pulling device is structured to keep approximately constant a contract pressure exerted to the topmost sheet delivered on the stacking device, and the pulling device is formed in a tapered shape whose one end is narrower than the opposite end.

摘要: An electrophotographic photosensitive member having a high sensitivity to long-wavelength light as emitted by a semiconductor laser and causing little change in potential change during repetitive use is formed by using as a charge-generating material a hydroxygallium phthalocyanine having a crystal form characterized by a strongest peak at a Bragg angle (2.theta..+-.0.2 deg.) of 28.1 deg. in a CuK.sub..alpha. characteristic X-ray diffraction pattern. The hydroxygallium phthalocyanine may preferably be produced through a process including treating a halogenated gallium phthalocyanine for conversion into a hydrous hydroxygallium phthalocyanine, freeze-drying the hydrous hydroxygallium phthalocyanine into a low-crystallinity hydroxygallium phthalocyanine, and milling the low-crystallinity hydroxygallium phthalocyanine.

摘要: A reconfigurable torus network system includes a switch section which is composed of switches for splitting an n-dimensional torus network into subunits or combining the subunits into the torus network and I/O switches having a hierarchical structure to couple the subunits to host computers and external devices. Each of these switches may be the same in arrangement as a processor-to-processor connection switch placed at each node (processor element) in the torus network. Since the I/O switches are connected hierarchically, the subunits can be used through host computers connected to the higher I/O switches. An interface with a host computer is provided for each of the subunits. Therefore, a plurality of users are allowed to use one parallel computer simultaneously. In addition, even if the number of available host computers are smaller than the number of the subunits, one host computer can act as a host for the subunits because the I/O switches are connected hierarchically. This allows a user to use the subunits simultaneously. In addition to host computers, each subunit can make access to higher external disk drives or other external devices.

摘要: A fluoroelastomer is disclosed which comprises vinylidene fluoride units and hexafluoropropylene units, optionally together with tetrafluoroethylene units, and wherein the amount of tetrafluoroethylene units is 35 to 0% by weight and the weight ratio of vinylidene fluoride units to hexafluoropropylene units is in the range of 80:20 to 40:60. The fluoroelastomer has a relatively low limiting viscosity number and a specific molecular weight distribution. The fluoroelastomer has excellent processability, e.g., excellent roll processability, mold release characteristics and metal-adhesion properties, and is capable of providing a vulcanized rubber having excellent mechanical strength and compression set resistance. The vulcanized rubber is advantageous in the manufacture of O-rings, oil seals, packings, gaskets, diaphragm materials and the like.

摘要: There are provided a sheet processing apparatus and an image forming apparatus which can adjust adhesive strength by a simple configuration.A toner image for adhesive strength adjustment is formed on a toner image of a sheet to be bonded by an image forming portion provided in a copying machine body. An adhesive is applied onto a bonding portion of the sheet by a gluing device provided in a finisher. The bonding portion of the sheet onto which the adhesive is applied and the toner image having the toner image for adhesive strength adjustment of the sheet are bonded together by a second pushing-out member and a pair of second folding rollers provided in the finisher. The amount of toner forming the toner image for adhesive strength adjustment formed by the image forming portion is adjusted to adjust the adhesive strength of the adhesive.

摘要: An image forming apparatus has a sheet stacking apparatus including a tray on which sheets are stacked, and an aligning member aligning the sheets stacked on the tray. The aligning member aligns sheets stacked, on a sheet previously stacked on the tray, with a displacement in an aligning direction of the aligning member with respect to the sheet previously stacked. An aligning operation of the aligning member is changed on the basis of whether or not the number of the sheets stacked on the sheets previously stacked is a predetermined number or less.
