摘要： A sanitary device is comprised of a tank storing an amount of water, a water pressure source, a cylinder, a nozzle pipe slidably fitted in the cylinder such that across the nozzle pipe a base side chamber and a distal side chamber are defined in the cylinder, a return spring accommodated in the distal side chamber and urging the nozzle pipe toward the retracted position thereof, and a control device serving for establishing either a first fluid communication between the tank and the base side chamber or a second fluid communication between the tank and the distal side chamber in such a manner that the first fluid communication brings the nozzle pipe into its operating position for ejecting the water while the water pressure is being supplied to the tank and the second fluid communication, together with the return spring, brings the nozzle pipe into its retracted position.

摘要： A substrate potential generating circuit can generate a lower substrate potential. The substrate potential generating circuit includes a clock signal generating circuit and first and second charge pump circuits. The first charge pump circuit including a p-channel MOS transistor having its source electrode connected to the semiconductor substrate applies a first negative potential to the drain electrode by capacitive coupling of a capacitor. The second charge pump circuit including first and second sub-charge pump circuit applies a third negative potential to the gate electrode when the first negative potential is applied to the drain electrode, and thereafter provides a second potential by lowering the third potential. As a result, the p-channel MOS transistor is turned on until a substrate potential is brought into a potential equal to the first potential applied to the drain electrode, lowering the substrate potential to the first potential.

摘要： A toilet seat has a heater connected to a controller for supplying heating current thereto via a first cable. A thermo-sensor in the toilet seat provides temperature signals to the controller via a second cable. The controller terminates the current to the heater upon the termination of signals from the thermo-sensor. The wires of the second cable have a diameter larger than those of the first cable, so that the wires of the second cable, which provide the temperature signal to the controller, will fail due to bending stresses upon repeated raising and lowering of the toilet seat, before the wires of the first cable. This will cause the controller to terminate the supply of current to the heater.

摘要： An apparatus for accommodating an electrical cord in a heated toilet seat having a toilet seat body and a base cover pivotally connected to each other, wherein an electrical cord adapted for electrical connection between a heater mounted within the toilet seat body and a controller therefore is secured at one by a grommet provided on the base cover and at the other end by a cord fastener in the toilet seat body. Sufficient cord slack is provided in the toilet seat body so that the cord may be retracted or extended during the pivoting of the toilet seat body. The cord slack is in the shape of a loop, and a guide stopper is positioned within the loop to guide the cord during extension and retraction and limit the maximum extension of the cord.

摘要： A water closet with a topical body washing mechanism including a water warmer mounted on the water closet and a spout pipe having a nozzle at the distal end therof for spouting warm water from the water warmer. The spout pipe is movable to and from an inoperative rest position within a bowl of the water closet, a second position advanced over the bowl to direct a jet of warm water toward the anus of the user and a third position further advanced over the bowl to direct a jet of warm water in a direction suitable for use as a bidet. An operating lever has a cam mounted on its rotational axis, the cam being contoured correspondingly to the second and third positions of the spout pipe to actuate a switch thereby starting a motor of a pump which sends forward warm water from the water warmer to the spouting nozzle. The electric circuit which includes the aforementioned motor and switch has in series a switching element and a delay circuit. When the motor switch is closed by the cam, the switching element is actuated starting the emission of water jets with a delay. Therefore, gushing of water at the second position is prevented when the spout pipe is shifted quickly from the first to the third position.
