摘要： A tape cassette capable of exhibiting satisfactory resistance to shock to prevent sagging of a tape. During non-use of a tape cassette, a lock member prevents a reel brake member urged by elastic force so as to be engaged with tape reels from being moved in a lock release direction due to shock. When the tape cassette is charged in a recording and reproducing apparatus, the lock member is actuated by a lock release element of the apparatus, to thereby release the reel brake member from engagement with the lock member.

摘要： A disk cartridge has a case rotatably containing a disk therein and is formed with a driving shaft insertion hole and a plurality of pickup insertion holes. A rotary shutter is provided and rotatably supported by a disk holder disposed around the driving shaft insertion hole to open and close the pickup insertion holes. A turning shutter is provided rotatably about a center separate from a center of the rotary shutter to open and close the driving shaft insertion hole. The disk holder is provided with surfaces for positioning the rotary shutter and the turning shutter. Both of the shutters are held and guided by the disk holder to open and close the driving shaft insertion hole and the pickup insertion holes during charging or removing the disk cartridge into or from a disk player.

摘要： A disk cartridge has a casing of resinous material which receives therein a floppy disk in a rotatable manner, the casing being formed by combining upper and lower half casings with the use of connecting ribs formed on the inner surface of at least one of the upper and lower half casings. The upper and lower half casings respectively have an outer circumferential wall at the circumference of the inner surface and an annular rib at the inner portion of the outer circumferential wall so as to define a floppy disk rotating region, wherein projections are formed in the annular rib of the upper half casing. Recesses are formed in the annular rib of the lower half casing so that the projections and the recesses are fitted to each other in a non-contacting state so as to form a complete annular wall, and sealing ribs are formed on the outer surface of the annular rib of the upper half casing so as to extend over gaps formed at the fitting portion of the projections and recesses.

摘要： A casing for a magnetic tape cassette capable of effectively and precisely actuating a slider. The casing includes a casing body having an upper casing member and a lower casing member joined together. The slider is slidably mounted on the lower casing member so as to cover at least a part of a bottom and a side of the lower casing member. The upper casing member is provided at a rear portion of both sides thereof with holding members through which the casing is grasped. The holding members are separated or isolated from the slider, to assure smooth sliding movement of the slider. The casing body may be provided on both sides thereof with reliefs which serve to prevent the holding members from interfering with movement of the slider.

摘要： A tape cassette capable of permitting a parting line during manufacturing of a die for molding a casing thereof to be kept constant to accomplish joining between an upper casing member and a lower casing member with increased accuracy and facilitate incorporation of components for the cassette into the casing. The upper casing member has tapping bosses for screwing provided thereon and having the same height as a peripheral wall thereof. The lower casing member has tapping bosses, at least one of which also functions as a reference hole, and which have a height greater than a peripheral thereof. The tapping bosses of the lower casing member which are arranged on opposite sides of a front portion of the casing are each formed on a peripheral wall thereof with a cutout so as to fit therein a portion of a front wall of the upper casing member. Alternatively, the front wall of the upper casing member is formed with cutouts in proximity to respective tapping bosses, each of which cutouts is arranged so as to fit therein a portion of a peripheral wall of a corresponding one of the tapping bosses of the lower casing member.

摘要： A disc cartridge capable of permitting a hub to be constantly rotated about the center of rotation thereof without any eccentricity, to thereby ensure smooth and stable rotation of the disc. The hub is formed with three drive shaft inserting holes in a manner to be spaced from each other at equal intervals and positioned on a concentric circle of a predetermined radius defined about a center of rotation of the hub. The drive shaft inserting holes each are formed with a linear driven surface which is adapted to be contacted with a drive shaft inserted into the hole. The driven surface may be arranged at an angle of -30 to +30 degrees with respect to the center of rotation of the hub.
