摘要： A flexible artificial fishing lure comprising a lure body and a pair of legs extending from the lure body, wherein each leg has an upper leg portion attached to the lure body and a lower leg portion extending rearward of the upper leg portion. Each lower leg portion tapers inwardly such that the thickness of each lower leg portion gradually decreases from an outer edge toward an inner edge. According to this design, the lower leg portions have greater weight along the outer edge than along the inner edge. In operation, the lower leg portions move multi-dimensionally as the lure is pulled through the water, thereby creating substantial motion and concomitant vibrations for attracting fish.

摘要： A frog lure device that has a life-like swimming action. In a preferred embodiment, the device has a diving “collar” disposed around an upper region of the lure body, rather than a lower region, which is common in conventional lure devices. In a specific embodiment, the collar caused the lure body to dive under the surface like a frog. Concurrent with the diving action, the lure device also has a kicking action to resemble a living frog device. In a specific embodiment, the collar also forms a trail of one or more bubbles and a vortex, or slight vacuum behind it. In a specific embodiment, the lure body includes a pair of legs, which have a suitable length to be caught in the vortex and become trapped in the vortex the pair of legs also straighten out to cause a kicking action and also provide stability to the lure body as it accelerates through the water. As the frog device traverses through the water, the legs also slightly contract and extend to resemble a kicking action. In other embodiments, the frog lure device can be crawled across surface vegetation. When given a single pull followed by a rest, the frog lure responds by diving from a surface region of the water (or suspended position) to a depth beneath the surface region at an angle not unlike a real frog. Concurrent with the diving action, the frog lure straightens its legs imitating a kicking action as it moves forward. As the lure comes to rest again, the legs coupled to the lure retract. Just like a real frog!

The bottom surface twists along an arcuate line from a plane that begins acute to the side surface of the lure body to a plane that is substantially perpendicular to the side section of the lure body. The lure can also include a diving element towards the head section of the lure. The diving element can be a weight located within the head section of the lure.

The fishing lure assembly has a body that can retain a volume of fill composition. The fill composition contains an ion exchange material and attractant scent compounds that are ionically bonded together. When the fishing lure is submersed in water, the fill composition is exposed to a controlled flow of water. In an ion exchange reaction, ions contained within the water bond to the ion exchange material and thus free the previously bonded attractant scent compounds. The freed attractant scent compounds flow out of the lure assembly with the passing water.

The first, bottom piece is a bent, elongated piece with a slightly dished, downwardly extending front “spoon” section. The bottom piece also has a more greatly dished, horizontally extending back “trough” section with flat, top horizontal edges. The second, top piece is a straight, solid, bulbous piece with a flat bottom and a doomed top. The flat bottom of the top piece cooperates with the flat, top edges of the “trough” section of the bottom piece. This way, there is an open channel which extends through the lure from near the back end of the “spoon” section to the back end of the “trough” section. A curved metal spine is embedded in the bottom piece from near the front to near the back of the lure, with portions of the spine extending out from the bottom piece on its top in the “spoon” area, and on its bottom near the “trough” area. This way, fishing line attaching equipment, and spinners are hooks, for example, may be connected to the lure at these exposed spine locations.

摘要： The present invention provides a new fishing lure construction wherein the same can be utilized for attracting fish to a hook attached to a lure resembling a swimmer. The buoyant lure has a rotatable arm assembly having a left arm attached to a first end of an elongated rod, and a right arm attached to a second end of the elongated rod, the elongated rod being rotatably positioned in a transverse linear passage passing between the shoulders of the figure of the swimmer. The left arm is angularly offset from the right arm 180 degrees, the hands of the arms being positioned such that when the lure is drawn across the surface of a body of water by an eyelet in the region of the head portion of the figure, the arms rotate imparting a paddling motion to the figure. At least one hook is attached to the bottom portion of the lure. In a preferred embodiment the figure is prone and is affixed to the top surface of a miniature surfboard. In another embodiment the lure is formed like a mermaid, the back portion and tail being formed from an elastomeric material. Indicia are placed on the body portion of the lures.
