摘要： A Christmas tree ornament protector is provided which absorbs the impact of ornaments falling from the branches of a Christmas tree and provides a means of preventing ornaments from rolling or bouncing onto the floor, and breaking. The ornament protector has a two-layer surface where the top layer can have a decorative covering suitable for use in conjunction with the display of a Christmas tree as a base under the tree and a bottom layer comprised of a series of peaks-and-valleys which protect falling ornaments from breaking on impact and further prevents the ornaments from rolling onto the floor and breaking.

摘要： A decorative Christmas tree stand skirt comprises an elongated sheet of material which is folded into a plurality of transverse uniform pleats throughout its length. Registering holes are provided through the pleats adjacent one side edge of the material and a tie cord is inserted freely therethrough for adjustably securing the one side edge of the pleated material about the upper ring of a Christmas tree stand. A conventional two component Velcro type fastener is attached to the opposite longitudinal end edges of the material, one component on one edge of the material and the other component on the other edge of the material, for releasably fastening the opposite edges together, whereby the skirt completely encircles and hides the Christmas tree stand. The Velcro fastener may be released in order to separate the meeting radial edges of the skirt for permitting access to the tree stand water reservoir for refilling without necessitating removal of the encircling decorative skirt from the stand.

摘要： A means for displaying and disposing of Christmas trees and the like including a flexible, resinous plastic, generally cylindrical envelope having an open end and a closed, sealed end with a central aperture or perforations in the closed end for receiving the trunk of the tree. In one form, the closed end includes a folded, sealed seam causing said envelope to crown over the stand under the tree. In another form, the closed end includes a rounded, arcuate sealed seam causing said envelope to dome over the stand beneath the tree. The envelope is folded below the tree during its display to cover the tree base and to collect needles dropping therefrom and is pulled up and over the tree to entrap the needles following such display.
