摘要: A vertical louver assembly of the type designed to movably support a plurality of vertically oriented louvers from a horizontally oriented housing and accompanying track structure and a tilt rod extending along the length of the housing. Each louver is supported by a carrier assembly itself including a carrier frame structured to accomplish collective positioning of the louvers along the length of the housing and also in a rotatable orientation about their own longitudinal axis through operation of the tilt rod as well as other control facilities. Each carrier frame includes a biasing assembly disposed and structured to force gear elements into mating engagement with one another and a clutch assembly disposed and structured to allow for realignment of any louver which has become inadvertently disconnected without damage thereto.

摘要: A device to control and protect the operating mechanisms of vertical slats for window blinds, contained in a box (1) in which there is a pinion consisting of outer (4) and inner (3) members. The outer member (4) has a partial set of vertical gear teeth and is limited in its rotation at the bottom end of the box. The inner member (3) supports the slat and goes through the outer member, extending above into an orifice (14) in the cover (9) of box (1). It is provided with a projection (3') that limits its rotation inside cover (9) by interacting with projection (23). The two members of the pinion are connected at the top by a tab that corresponds to a notch. The cover 9 can have play with reference to a flexible intermediate wall (24) inside the box.

摘要: A venetian blind mechanism having a lead and a plurality of auxiliary carriers supported for traversing movement along a header and vane supports mounted on the auxiliary carriers for turning about an upright axis for light control. An operating chain is connected intermediate its ends to the lead carrier and has chain portions extending lengthwise of the header in meshing engagement with sprockets on the auxiliary carriers to control spacing between the auxiliary carriers and to effect rotation of the vane supports. The header has telescoping sections to enable adjustment of the length of the header. The trackway is located at the rear side of the header.

摘要: A carrier for a louver of a vertical venetian blind is disclosed for supporting a louver for rotation about its vertical axis and for transport along the headrail, which carrier includes a drive mechanism for rotating the louver about its vertical axis. The drive mechanism is disclosed as including a worm and a gear arrangement with a slip clutch disposed between the worm and the drive shaft. In one embodiment, the slip clutch comprises a slotted sleeve mounted on the drive shaft inside the hub of the worm, which sleeve has lugs positioned to engage a stop on the gear to effect the opening of its slot and reduction of its frictional contact with the drive shaft. In second embodiment, the worm itself frictionally engages about the guide shaft and has a slot along its length with the ends of the slot receiving wedge-like cams integral with rings loosely mounted on the drive shaft. Upon one carrier striking an adjacent carrier, the wedge-like cams widen the slot in the worm hub, thus reducing its frictional engagement with the drive shaft.

Further, additional intermediate rail units and intermediate slat components may be added to the module to alter the shape and size of the module, and the module may be coupled to one or more additional modules to change the overall shape and size of the modular shade.

摘要: The automatic window blind system provides gear driven window blind control. A solar power with back up battery provides energy to operate the window blinds and a light emitting diode strip that changes light colors depending upon daylight and night conditions. A plurality of toothed rack drives is driven by and drives rack gears in ensuring a positive operation of window blind hooks in pivoting window blinds that snap into the window blind hooks. A printed wiring board assembly controls functions and is accompanied by a rack sensor that cooperates with an optical sensor. The optical sensor and the rack sensor automatically position window blinds based upon light intensity.
