摘要： An ornamental fixture having a support structure and a plurality of ornaments mounted to the support structure in a substantially completely spherical arrangement of ornaments. The ornaments may be glass crystal ornaments, for example, octagonal glass crystals, and a light may be mounted within the fixture. The support structure may include an upper support ring and at least one lower support ring vertically spaced from the upper support ring and a plurality of arcuate sector assemblies removably mounted to the upper support ring and the at least one lower support ring. The sector assemblies retain the ornaments to provide a substantially continuous 360-degree array of ornaments. The sector assemblies can also be disassembled from the support structure for maintenance, servicing, relamping, and cleaning of the fixture. For example, the disassembled components of the fixture may be washed in a dishwasher without damaging the ornaments or the support structure.

摘要： Light fixtures, lighting methods, and devices for mounting ornaments are provided. The light fixtures and methods overcome the limitations of the prior art by permitting electrical power transmission to the light sources, such as, LEDs, through the light fixture suspension elements. The light fixtures include a first ring suspended by a plurality of first cords; and a second ring suspended by a plurality of second cords from the first ring; wherein at least one of the first ring and the second ring comprises a plurality of light sources; and wherein at least one of the plurality of first cords and at least one of the plurality of the second cords are adapted to transmit electrical power to the plurality of light sources. Methods of mounting light sources and ornament mounting arrangements are also disclosed.

The support frame may include elongated arms, and the decorative elements may be affixed to the support frame via the arms. The decorative element may be fabricated of crystal.

The adornments may be of different shapes, sizes, and colors and they may be coupled to various non-fixed locations. The adornments may include multiple pieces coupled together and to the magnet using wire, string, chain or metal links. The fixtures or apparatus may be easily disassembled and reassembled by removing and replacing the adornments for cleaning or to change the appearance thereof. The fixture/apparatus may be a chandelier, candle holder, sconce, lamp, bobeche, tract lighting, ceiling fan, curtain rod, lampshade and the like.

摘要： When displaying decorative ornaments in vertical chains, that is, as ornament curtains, for example, in light fixtures, gaps or voids between the ornaments can detract from the overall visual appeal. Methods and apparatus of the present invention minimize the gaps and voids in an ornament display to provide a denser display of ornaments than the existing art. According to aspects of the invention, the denser ornament display is achieved by mounting ornament chains in gallery rings that suspend the ornament chains in staggered relationship either in multiple planes or within the same plane whereby the ornaments fill the gaps and voids in the visual field of the viewer. The invention also includes improved gallery rings and ornament chains that are adapted to be mounted to the improved gallery rings. Aspects of the invention may be used in many types of ornamental light fixtures, such as, chandeliers.

The present luminaires are usually provided with elongated and other apertures, certain of which are often referred to as “small” apertures, conformed by shaping of at least one elongated edge thereof to minimize alternating relatively light and dark striations on adjacent walls. Luminaires according to the invention having relatively narrow elongated apertures function to transition abrupt changes in luminance imaged onto an adjacent wall by alteration of aperture opening, such as by an extension of structure from one elongated edge of such an aperture, thereby to produce a more smooth vertical light distribution over the wall.

In one aspect, an arrangement is provided including a frame having an aperture and the aperture having an internal surface, and at least one ornament mounting post projecting from the frame, wherein the ornament is retained by the mounting post and the internal surface of the aperture when the ornament is mounted on the mounting post. According to the disclosed method, the ornament is mounted to the post by first deflecting the post to a first position, mounting the ornament, and then deflecting the post to its original position whereby the ornament is retained by the post and the aperture. No mounting hardware or special tools are required. The arrangements and methods may be used for ornamental fixtures, for example, chandeliers and lamps.

摘要： The present invention discloses an improved decoration fixture of a ceiling lamp, which can fix a decoration around the external periphery of a lamp rod of a ceiling lamp, comprising a restricting bar installed on the lamp rod in advance, and a decoration tied to the restricting bar; wherein the restricting bar attaches onto the external periphery of the lamp rod along the curvature of the lamp rod, and has a protruded latch disposed at every interval of appropriate length such that the protruded latch can appropriately fix the decoration into a position. A tying string passes through the protruded latch of the restricting bar and ties a decoration on the string to position the decoration on the external periphery of the lamp rod. Since after the string tying the decoration passes through the protruded latch of the restricting bar, the string is tied directly on the protruded latch of the restricting bar such that the string will not tangle with the lamp rod, or affect the external look of the overall lamp rod.
