摘要： An agricultural implement arrangement is disclosed that may provide wheel assemblies that are stored in front of wing assemblies and row units mounted thereon. The arrangement may include actuators to extend the wheel assemblies in order to lift the row units off the ground to move to a transport position. When in a fully-folded position, the wing wheel assemblies may interleave. The arrangement may also shift the weight of the wing assemblies while in transport position to the hitch of the tractor and center the rearward weight over the central wheel assembly.

An actuator pivots the center frame section upward about the hitch frame axis at the rear of the hitch frame to raise the frame sections upward and rearward from a horizontal aligned operating position, where front ends of the frame sections are forward of the hitch frame axis, to a raised position where the frame sections are oriented vertically. Working members mounted to the frame sections forward of the hitch frame support the apparatus on the ground in the operating position, move upward off the ground in the raised position. Transport wheels rearward of the hitch frame axis are above the ground in the operating position, and move down to support the apparatus in the raised position, where wing sections can pivot rearward to the transport position.

摘要： An apparatus includes a tongue, a pivotable beam linked to the tongue, a cylinder configured to move the pivotable beam from an operating position to a transport position, which is narrower than the operating position, and a latchable member connected to the pivotable beam. A locking assembly includes first and second dogs which can receive the latchable member. The second dog can move relative to the first dog from an open position to a closed position in response to movement of the latchable member such that movement of the latchable member out of the second dog opening is blocked by the first dog while the second dog is in the closed position. The apparatus includes a locking member that moves in response to movement of the cylinder from an unlocked to a locked position to lock the dogs in the closed position.

An "L'-shaped linkage and a spring assembly pivotally support the rod. The draft cable is attached to the center frame hitch and outer wing. It is supported in the center by a folding support arm. This allows the wire to be moved when the cultivator is being transported. The draft cable transfers the draft force exerted on the outer wing to the center frame hitch.

摘要： A telescoping field marker which is retractable into a compact storage position. The inventive device includes a bracket structure attachable to an implement frame, an inner arm having a lumen pivotally attached to the bracket structure, a hydraulic cylinder attached between said bracket structure and said inner arm, a hydraulic motor within the inner arm adjacent the bracket structure, an outer arm slidably positioned within the lumen of the inner arm, and a threaded shaft connected to the hydraulic motor and threadably connected to a proximal end of the outer arm for extending and retracting the outer arm with respect to the inner arm. A marking disc is attached to a distal end of the outer arm for marking a ground surface. The outer arm is free to move upwardly and downwardly when fully extended thereby compensating for uneven terrain. The hydraulic cylinder and the hydraulic motor are preferably fluidly connected in series so as to operate simultaneously.

摘要： The present invention is bifold field marker. The marker utilizes a marking disc mounted on the distal end of an arm. This arm is coupled to a mounting bracket which, in turn, is connected to an implement's tool bar. The arm is articulated at a central knuckle to allow the marker to fold. A hydraulic cylinder is positioned between the mounting bracket and the arm to push or pull the arm about a main pin or hinge. When the arm is in an extended horizontal position, the main pin or hinge on the mounting bracket is oriented at an angle both from the direction of travel and from the ground. This allows the hydraulic cylinder to pivot the arm about the main pin's axis and fold both sections of the arm simultaneously to a point where the marker is positioned in a compact orientation along the side of the implement.

摘要： A cart or "caddy" is provided for operation and transport of one or more chain harrows, the cart consisting of a frame running on a pair of road wheels. Different harrow mountings can be mounted on the frame, all of which include a draw bar to which the harrow is attached for operation. All of the mountings enable the draw bar to be lifted from the ground and then the body of the harrow to be engaged by one or more spaced cross bars parallel to the draw bar and over which the harrow is draped to store it and permit it to be transported on the cart out of contact with the ground. Some of the mountings are pivoted to the cart frame about an axis that in the stored position is vertical, so that the mounting and harrow can be turned longitudinally to reduce the effective width and permit the use of harrows that would otherwise be too wide to be moved over public roads. Wider arrangements use two harrows that operate side-by-side on mountings that are pivoted individually so that they can be turned to be parallel to one another in the stored transportable position; such mountings employ extra outrigger supporting wheels and tension cables to keep them parallel.

A hydraulic cylinder (21) is arranged between the towing bar (2) and central frame (8), and can swing the central frame and the roller sections (4, 5, 6) connected thereto about 90.degree. about a pivoting axis transverse the driving direction to an `on edge` or intermediate position, where the roller rests on the transport wheels (15, 16). By driving the tractor forwards the side sections (4, 6) are caused to swing towards each other into the transport position.
