The portion (12) of elastic material allows the first and the second segment (13), (14) to be moved from a first position in which they are substantially approached, to a second position in which they are distanced, to facilitate the movement of the person wearing the clothing item. The portion (12) of elastic material can extend along the entire said junction area (4). The clothing item can also comprise a plurality of portions (12) of elastically deformable material, each positioned in correspondence with a junction area (4) between at least two segments (3).

摘要： The invention relates to a fully modular and evolutive transformable garment obtained by a combination amongst multiple combinations of a plurality of instantaneously removable modules (1-17) which is metamorphosable. According to the invention, the modules (1-17) are interchangeable, substantially complementary by degrees, composite, irregular and optionally heterogeneous. Each module is made lying flat, generally shaped and costumized, and comprises at least on each of the edges to be assembled a means for rapidly fixing the edges to each other. The modules are comprised of a plurality of basic modules (7, 9, 11, 12) and of a plurality of complementary modules (1, 2, . . . ). Each module may be cut in any way as to the material used so that it can be adapted to other modules. Preferably, each module is polyvalent.

摘要： A tennis skirt having a pocket hidden within a pleated, partially tacked down, knife edge tennis skirt is disclosed. The pocket is hidden within the upper, tacked down portion of the pleat. Due to the unique manufacturing process of the present invention, the resulting tennis skirt provides a hidden pocket which is rugged in construction and can attractively hold tennis balls, keys and other items, without detracting from the continuous cascading pleated look of the tennis skirt. In addition a step-by-step method of manufacturing a garment, specifically a tennis skirt having a tacked down knife edge pleats with a hidden pocket is also disclosed.

摘要： A bridal train for adjustably positioning relative to a ground surface. The inventive device includes a skirt web forming a portion of a bridal gown which continues into a train web for trailing behind the gown during a wedding proceeding. Retracting assemblies are secured to inner surfaces of the train web for effecting a pleating and shortening of the train web to a length substantially equal to a length of the skirt web so as to hang the train from the gown and preclude trailing of the train web along a ground surface.

摘要： A garment having a pant-like portion and a skirt-like portion is provided. The pant-like portion includes a crotch section which passes between the legs of the wearer when the garment is worn and the skirt-like portion is adapted to encircle the legs of the wearer. Both portions serve as the outermost material of the garment so that the garment has a pant-like appearance above the crotch and a skirt-like appearance below the crotch. The crotch section can be provided with a device for adjusting the snugness of fit of the crotch. The garment can include material attached to the pant-like portion which extends above the waist of the wearer and gives the garment an overall dress-like appearance. The skirt-like portion can be constructed with various hemline lengths and can be provided with a panel passing between the legs of the wearer.

Each pocket has an opening facing the upper edge. The garment end portions are releasably joinable about a wearer's waist with the inner side confronting the wearer's body. The garment may be worn with the central portion on that hip of the wearer selected by the wearer so that one of the pockets is on the front of the wearer's body and accessible to the hand of the wearer selected by the wearer.

摘要： A decorative Christmas tree stand skirt comprises an elongated sheet of material which is folded into a plurality of transverse uniform pleats throughout its length. Registering holes are provided through the pleats adjacent one side edge of the material and a tie cord is inserted freely therethrough for adjustably securing the one side edge of the pleated material about the upper ring of a Christmas tree stand. A conventional two component Velcro type fastener is attached to the opposite longitudinal end edges of the material, one component on one edge of the material and the other component on the other edge of the material, for releasably fastening the opposite edges together, whereby the skirt completely encircles and hides the Christmas tree stand. The Velcro fastener may be released in order to separate the meeting radial edges of the skirt for permitting access to the tree stand water reservoir for refilling without necessitating removal of the encircling decorative skirt from the stand.

摘要： A convertible short pants and skirt garment is disclosed including releaseable fastening hook and pile fabric means connecting the front and back portions to form a crotch whereby the garment is a pair of pants with depending legs. Each of the front and back bottom edge portions is folded inwardly with the fastening means in nonclosing condition thereby respectively forming inwardly directed front and back pleats whereby the garment is a skirt. The hook portion of the fastening means is located on the outer garment surface so that when it is folded onto itself, it adheres to partially close the back pleat in the skirt.The legs can be extended to form longer pants and either the releaseable fastening means can extend to the lower ends of the pants or can terminate generally above the knee portions.

摘要： There is provided an outer garment including an outer portion intended to embrace the lower torso, an internal body hugging portion made of power net having front and rear sections, means securing the outer portion to the internal portion approximately about the waistline and longitudinally downwardly from the waistline approximately centrally of the front of the garment, and means in the area of the crotch securing the front and rear sections of the internal portion in relative positions to one another and defining individual leg holes for the wearer's feet. Advantageously the outer portion is a pair of stretch trousers knit of textured polyester multifilament yarns, the power net is more stretchable longitudinally than transversely and the power net is also secured to the rear of the trousers along a central longitudinal line. The power net, which front and rear extends to the crotch, may be stitched fully lengthwise to meet at a point or be joined into a full crotchpiece.
