摘要： A method and apparatus for playing a board game includes a substantially flat playing board having a playing surface thereon, the playing surface having indicia thereon including target indicia. A ball indicating disc, and first and second player indicating discs used by opposing players are placed on the playing surface in accordance with the game rules. At least one manually operated disc propelling device is used to hit sharply one of the player discs to propel it into engagement with the ball indicating disc, which, in turn, is then driven toward the target indicia. One of the player discs has flat upper and lower surfaces, and the upper surfaces are at least partially rough in texture. The ball indicating disc has a flat lower surface so that the ball indicating disc can be stacked on top of one of the player indicating discs in accordance with the game rules following certain game situations and loosely held in place by frictional engagement therewith, whereby the device can be used to hit the vertically stacked discs with the device to cause the stacked discs to slide along the playing surface.

摘要： A coin operated, sliding puck game having a generally flat playing surface, and a series of compartments are located at one end of the playing surface. Openings or gates provide communication between the playing surface and the compartments, and the players slide pucks along the playing surface and attempt to direct the pucks through the gates into the compartments to register a score. The upper ends of the compartments are enclosed by a hinged, transparent cover which is operably interconnected with a series of pegs that are mounted for movement within openings disposed in alignment with the gates. When the cover is in an open position, the pegs project into the gates and prevent play of the game. By inserting a coin in an operating mechanism, the cover will automatically move to a closed position and the pegs will move out of the obstructing position so that the game is operable for play.

摘要： This invention provides a curling game including a smooth, flat surface on which a target area is painted. Playing pieces are conveyed by a conveyor between the flat surface and flush therewith at a speed which is manually variable. Recessed in the flat surface between the conveyor and the target is a disk of which the top surface is flush with the flat surface. The disk can be swivelled about its centre and has thread-like, parallel entraining means adapted to change the angle of travel of a playing piece whenever the direction of the entraining means differs from the direction of travel.

摘要： A lightweight portable shuffleboard game is described wherein an integrally molded plastic base is formed with a puck-sliding playing surface. The playing surface is separated by a divider into a pair of parallel alleys which meet at a fold region where a V-shaped rebounding device is located. The rebounding device is formed with a pair of resilient cushions oriented to bounce pucks traveling along one forward alley from one cushion to the other cushion and then onto the other alley towards a scoring area. The spacing of the rebounding device from the divider is selected commensurate with the length and width of the forward alley to assure that pucks reach the scoring area along a double bounce path for enhanced skillful scoring with the shuffle-board game.
