摘要： A constant volume metering chamber and valve assembly for use with a pressurized fluid supply containing a fluid is described for use in a power fastening tool. The assembly includes a first spring-biased valve and a second spring-biased valve. There is a metering chamber having an inlet and an outlet, so that the first spring-biased valve controls the inlet and the second spring-biased valve controls the outlet. An actuator assembly operates causes the first and second spring-biased valves to move in either a first valve sequence or a second valve sequence. The first valve sequence includes engaging the first spring-biased valve with the inlet, preventing flow of the fluid from the fluid supply into the metering chamber, followed by disengaging the second spring-biased valve from the outlet, allowing flow of the fluid from the metering chamber. The second valve sequence includes engaging the second spring-biased valve the said outlet, preventing flow of the fluid from the metering chamber, followed by disengaging the first spring-biased valve from the inlet, allowing flow of the fluid from the fluid supply into the metering chamber, such that fluid is prevented from flowing freely from the pressurized fluid supply through the inlet and the outlet of the metering chamber.

The cylindrical body includes a first flange that defines an inner space and that is formed with an external thread engaging threadedly the open end of the housing, and a second flange that is reduced from the first flange, that extends into the housing, and that defines a receiving space in fluid communication with the inner space. A nut is disposed in the inner space. A cover with an air outlet is fastened to the nut through a bolt to cover the inner space. A sealing member is movably and sealingly disposed in the housing for sealing the receiving space during a nail impelling operation.

摘要： A nail gun has a free end 19a and central potion of a trigger arm 19 positioned within a trigger 11, on an upper end 12a of a safety portion 12 and at a plunger 17, respectively. When the trigger 11 is pivoted on its pivot end 16, pivoting movement of the trigger 11 moves a pivot end 18 of the trigger arm 19 to press the central portion of the trigger arm 19 into contact with the plunger 17 and, with the plunger 17 serving as a fulcrum, to press the free end 19a downward against the upper end 12a of the safety portion 12. If downward movement of the safety portion 12 is obstructed when the trigger 11 is pivoted, the upper end 12a contacted by the free end 19a of the trigger arm 19 serves as a fulcrum around which the trigger arm 19 pivots with movement of the trigger 11, whereupon the central portion of the trigger arm 19 presses the plunger 17 inward so that an activation switch 10 activates a blade 7 to eject a nail through a nose piece 5.

摘要： A magazine includes a nail guide surface and a movable guide wall. The nail guide surface is linear and continuous to a nail introducing opening and has a shoulder for supporting the nail heads of a connected nail assembly. The movable guide wall is confronted with the nail guide surface. In the magazine, a plurality of connected nail assemblies are loaded and placed in side-by-side relation, while being in contact with each other, between the nail guide surface and the movable guide wall. The plurality of connected nail assemblies are pressed against the guide surface of the magazine by pressing members provided on the movable guide wall. The movable guide wall is turned, for opening and closing, between a position being confronted with the nail guide surface of the magazine and a position at which the nail guide surface is opened.

摘要： A delivery tool is provided for driving fastening devices, for example, U-shaped fastening devices which mount tubing to a surface. The delivery tool has a pivoting structure, including a driving member and a base member. The delivery tool includes a movable ram which is axially guided within the base member to maintain an orientation perpendicular to the surface to drive the fastening devices in a straight manner. A pneumatic impact mechanism is housed within the driving member to assist the ram. The impact mechanism has a concave force delivery member shaped to contact the ram at a generally radial orientation relative thereto, thereby optimally delivering the impact forces to the ram regardless of the angular position of the driving member relative to the base member.

摘要： A fastener driving device includes a frame structure providing a handle portion and an adjustable annular exhaust air directing member mounted on the frame structure. The exhaust air directing member allows air displaced during the operation of the device to be directed by a rotational position thereof. A pair of O-rings are provided which act between the exhaust air directing member and the frame structure (1) to ensure that air is discharged into the atmosphere in a direction determined by the rotational position of the exhaust air directing member and (2) to yieldingly retain the exhaust air directing member in any rotational position into which it is manually moved. The frame structure includes a cylinder housing portion integral with the handle portion. A cap member is bolted in sealing relation to the cylinder housing portion and the exhaust air directing member is rotatably mounted to the cap member.
