摘要: A systemic dual motor framing for a watercraft is provided as is the overall system. The systemic dual motor framing is movable between a folded condition and an unfolded condition for attaching with the assistance of strapping to a stern of the watercraft, sleeve-like, either by sliding over the stern end or strapping around the stern. In the unfolded condition, the systemic dual motor framing facilities the strapping while maintaining a motor on each side of the watercraft, wherein the two motors can be selectively powered in conjunction remotely.

摘要: In one example, a watercraft includes a hull that defines a well extending through a bottom of the hull, and the hull defines an upper tray recess and a lower tray recess. A pedal-drive mechanism is connected to the hull and configured to assume both a stowed position and a deployed position, and a portion of the pedal-drive mechanism extends through the well when the pedal-drive mechanism is in the deployed position. A pedal-drive housing and attachment mechanism is provided that includes a tray configured to move between a forward position in which part of the tray resides in the lower tray recess, and an aft position in which part of the tray resides in the upper tray recess.

摘要: A personal watercraft orifice injury mitigation system comprising: a passenger lanyard 9 with a key 10 and attachment 11 at opposite ends of said lanyard 9; a kill switch 12, where the key 10 is inserted into the kill switch 12 and the attachment 11 is attached to a passenger on the personal watercraft; electrical contacts 14 attached to the kill switch 12 and a controller/logic circuit 15, wherein if the passenger falls of the personal watercraft the key 10 activates the control logic circuit 15, such that if the personal watercraft is traveling less than X mph the kill switch 12 shuts off the engine so that there is no high energy water jet that exits the rear of the personal watercraft thus eliminating the possibility of serious orifice injuries that would be caused by passenger interaction with the high energy water jet.

摘要: A watercraft with improved safety and stability is provided. The watercraft includes a shell defining a plurality of raceways for receiving water during certain maneuvers of the watercraft, thereby excerpting force upon the watercraft in a first direction. The shell is configured so as to prevent or otherwise inhibit the water from excerpting an opposed second force upon the watercraft. An intermediate panel of the shell provides increased flexibility, thereby serving as a shock absorber for the watercraft.

摘要: A personal watercraft is disclosed including a flotation portion, a strut extending from the flotation portion, and a motor pod is disposed along the strut with an electric motor operably coupled to a driveshaft. A hydrojet unit is removably attached to the motor pod and includes an inlet portion removably attached to the motor pod and a substantially cylindrical housing. The inlet portion includes a substantially conical motor interface with a shaft through-hole for receiving the driveshaft therein, one or more fins extending outwardly from the conical motor interface, and at least one ring encircling the conical motor interface and connecting to each of the one or more fins for inhibiting objects from passing through the inlet region. The housing defines a fluid flow path to an outlet portion. The hydrojet unit includes an impeller coupled to the driveshaft and a stator disposed within the housing.

摘要: A watercraft comprising a deck and a wall, the wall comprising a first reconfigurable panel, is provided. The deck has a front end, a back end, and a perimeter. The wall extends proximate a portion of the perimeter, thereby defining a use portion of the deck. The first reconfigurable panel is movable between a fixed first position and a fixed second position. When the first reconfigurable panel is in the second position, an area of the use portion of the deck is open. The area may be a front area of the deck, a rear area of the deck, or a side area of the deck
