    摘要： A foldable locking step stool includes a stool platform configured to hingedly fold into a first stool platform member and a second stool platform member. The stool has a child-proof locking mechanism preventing a child from pinching their fingers when the stool platform folds. The child-proof locking mechanism includes a pair of slider elements required to be engaged simultaneously to release a pair of locking bolts enabling the folding of the stool. Overmolded grips ensure traction during use. An integrated handle is hidden when the stool is in use, but accessible when moving or stowing the stool.

    摘要： A convertible chair includes a base frame, a seat connected to the base frame through first, second, and third legs, a back support connected to the seat via first and second support arms, and at least one hinge assembly interconnecting the chair components. A user can pivot the back support between an upright chair position and a lowered table position wherein an upper surface of the seat and a back side surface of the back support form an essentially planar table surface. At least one locking mechanism can be utilized to selectively lock the back support in the upright position. Additionally, the chair can be folded into an essentially flat storage position. A table leaf is also provided to fit between two adjacent convertible chairs in the table position, to produce an extended table configuration.

    摘要： A folding chair having a novel hinge and joint surface configuration that forms a substantially rigid structure approximating conventional non-folding chair designs. In one embodiment, the present invention provides a folding chair comprising a seat frame, a backrest frame hinged proximally to the rear edge of the seat frame and forwardly collapsible over the upper surface of the seat frame, and back legs hinged to the rear edge of the seat frame and forwardly collapsible over the lower surface of the seat frame. The chair, in one embodiment, further comprises front legs hinged to the seat frame and collapsible over the back legs. In an assembled state, the back legs and the backrest frame each abut against elements of the chair at joint surfaces, which limit the range of motion of the hinged members to thereby create a chair having a rigid support structure. In one embodiment, the seat frame, backrest frame, and back legs unfold into an interlocked configuration enhancing the stability of the chair.
