    摘要: A device for creating infused beverages that includes a solvent flow management system having a pump body with a pump bore defining a pump interior volume, a piston disposed within the pump interior volume and in a fluidically sealed configuration with the pump bore, and a pump drive system operably coupled to the piston to generate a piston translation path. The device also includes a solvent-flow conduit and in fluid communication with the pump interior volume and a brewing chamber, an outlet, and a flow control valve, wherein the pump drive system is operably configured to selectively drive the piston along the piston translation path, when the flow control valve is in a selectively closed position, to induce a negative pressure and the flow of fluid through a solute housed in the brewing chamber, downstream and through the solvent-flow conduit, and into the pump interior volume.

    摘要: An air compressed coffee or tea making machine includes an air tank storing high pressure air; the air tank being connected to an air compressor for compressing external air so as to drive the high pressure air within the air tank; at least one liquid storage tank for storing liquid therein; a filtering tank installed below the air tank and connected to the liquid storage tank; a receiving tank installed below the filtering tank; the receiving tank serving for receiving coffee powders or tea powders therein. The liquid of the liquid storage tank is filled into the filtering tank; by the high pressure air from the air tank, liquid within the filtering tank suffers from a uniform air pressure and then flows to the receiving tank; as a result, the liquid is uniformly mixed with the coffee or tea powders within the receiving tank.

    摘要: The present system relates a French Press that comprises a carafe with a removable bottom member. The bottom member is threaded onto the man body of the carafe and forms a watertight seal during use of the carafe. During the preparation of the coffee using the French Press, normal operation is possible. The spend solids collect naturally in the bottom member during use, and are in fact urged there by depression of the plunger during operation. After use, the bottom member can be easily removed from the main body of the carafe and the spent solids can be easily cleaned from the bottom member, along with any stray spent solids that might have remained in the main body of the carafe.

    摘要: Embodiments are directed towards regulating flow rate in an espresso machine, during a multi-phase brewing process which includes a pre-brew and an extraction phase. During the pre-brew phase, coffee grounds are slowly pre-wetted and/or out-gassed with a first volume of water delivered at a first flow rate. During the extraction phase, a second volume of water is delivered, at a second flow rate, to extract espresso, where the second volume is delivered at a generally greater pressure than the first volume. The second flow rate is greater than the first flow rate. The flow rates, volumes, and pressures are regulated by the espresso machine, which includes a flow rate regulation assembly that comprises first and second flow paths and first and second valves. Baristas may vary the flow rate, volume, and pressure of water throughout the brewing process by opening, closing, or otherwise adjusting at least one of the valves.
