摘要: Some variations provide an automated system for solvent extraction of a feed stock to produce a botanical extract, fats, oils, or other desirable solute, comprising: an extraction reactor; a distillation unit; and a second-stage purge chamber or a second-stage purge process utilizing the extraction reactor itself. The second-stage purge chamber or process receives or holds the solid material along with a heated inert non-condensable gas and/or solvent vapor, to recover residual solvent contained in the solid material. Other variations provide a process comprising: feeding a raw material and a solvent into an extraction reactor; generating dissolved material in rich solvent and extracted solid material; distilling the rich solvent to generate purified product and recovered solvent; conveying the solid material and a heated inert non-condensable gas and/or solvent vapor into a second-stage purge chamber, or holding the solid material in the same vessel, to recover residual solvent; and recovering the purified product.

摘要: The present technology is directed to methods and processes for optimally extracting and distilling desired natural ingredients from raw natural ingredients, involving pre-soaking the raw natural ingredients in a solvent, boiling the liquid component from the pre-soaking step, allowing the resultant vapor to contact the solid component, and passing the resultant enhanced vapor through a distillation column to obtain a desired product. Any steps of the methods and processes herein can be performed in conjunction with a vacuum or pressurizing device—that is, at an elevated or lowered pressure compared with ambient pressure.

摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices for phytochemical extraction. One example extraction system includes two solvent columns, a material column, and a dewaxing column. The solvent columns store and provide solvent for stripping target chemicals from plant material in the material column. The solvent mixed with target chemicals passes into the dewaxing column, where the target chemicals are separated from waxes and lipids. Cooling is applied to elements of the system by way of an open-loop CO2 refrigeration method. Solvent is moved from the solvent columns to the material column by creating a pressure differential between the two solvent columns.

摘要: A method for cell disruption and extraction of a plant, includes placing plant material on a porous container, placing the porous container into a reaction device, and producing water ion steam of an atmospheric pressure by a water ion generator. The water ion steam infiltrates the porous container and permeates the plant material. The water ion steam penetrate cells of the plant material and breaks the cell wall of the cells, to cause a cell disruption. The residual water ion steam is drained outward from the exhaust pipe of the box.

The filter stages are thermally insulated from ambient temperatures in order to maintain the liquid passing through at a reduced temperature. Each filter stage has a removable lid, which provides convenient access for replacing the filter cartridge, allowing it to be changed without disturbing the thermally insulated sidewalls of the filter stage.

The diffuser assembly includes an outlet structure disposed within the housing and spaced from the inlet structure to form a mixing chamber between the inlet structure and the outlet structure. The inlet structure and the outlet structure each have a porosity configured for passage of the extracting solvent therethrough. Passage of the extracting solvent through the inlet structure, the mixing chamber, and the outlet structure redistributes flow of the extracting solvent along the extraction path.

摘要: A system and method of extracting essential oils from plant material through the use of a low pressure alcohol-based closed system that includes a solvent chamber connected to a material column that in turn is connected to a recovery chamber. Plant material in the material column and the solvent in the solvent chamber are cooled using a cooling liquid, such as nitrogen. A vacuum pump connected to the recovery chamber creates a vacuum in the recovery chamber to draw the cooled solvent through the cooled plant material and extract essential oils, which are collected in the recovery chamber.
