摘要： A novel child's bicycle seat/rack assembly is provided. The seat is capable of slidable attachment to a touring rack of the type including a substantially rectangular frame formed from struts. The seat has integrally-formed channels for slidably engaging the struts and forward and rear integrally-formed, latches adapted to releasably engage the struts so as to lock the seat member against rearward movement relative to the rack. A locking wedge is provided to secure a latch against unintentional flexing and disengagement from the strut. A child's seat may have a seat portion and a back portion pivotably attached to one another by a pair of axially aligned, hub assemblies.

摘要： A pannier mounting arrangement is disclosed for mounting panniers on the rear carrier rack of cycle vehicles such as bicycles or motorcycles including an elongated rod permanently attached to each pannier encased within a pouch extending across the upper edge of the pannier, the rod adapted to be slidably received within a channel section, either formed in a track section attached to existing bicycle carrier racks or formed integrally in a horizontal platform of specially designed carrier racks incorporating the mounting arrangement components. Also disclosed is a specially designed rear carrier rack which includes a horizontal platform having the channel sections integrally formed therein supported by a plurality of struts arranged to provide a rigid support. The rear carrier rack also features an arrangement for providing an adjustment in the length of the horizontal platform, so as to be readily installed on cycle vehicles of various frame sizes and configurations.

摘要： A holding device installable on a motorcycle for supporting saddlebags, lateral baggage pouches or luggage pieces is made of a strong, fracture-resistant synthetic material and includes two lateral holding frames which support upper frames interconnected by a transverse luggage rack. The rear part of the lower side of the upper frames has an extension for supporting transverse fastening screws which are guided in grooves formed in the top side of the underlying holding frame. The upper guiding groove permits the tilting of the upper frames downwardly about a quadrant. At the front end of the lower side of the upper frame is formed a locking nose engageable in a corresponding recessed receptacle in a lateral wall of the top side of the holding frame. By displacing and tilting the holding device, it is possible to swing open the seat of the motorcycle to access a storage compartment below the seat.

The supporting rack has a freestanding frame portion, and the carrier means has a sleeve portion which is closed at the top and the sides and open at the bottom, to provide a generally rectangular recess which is dimension and configured to correspond to the frame portion of the rack, and to slidingly and snugly receive it. The resultant assembly provides good support and stability, coupled with facility of use and manufacture, and relatively low cost.
