摘要： A lifting hook is provided for balanced lifting of coils of rolled sheet metal of varying widths. The lifting hook has a lifting frame that includes a lower arm with a forward end for penetrating a lumen of a coil. A counterweight is provided that slides along a forward portion of an upper arm of the frame. A lifting assembly also slides on the frame and is arranged to move intermediate the counterweight and a rearward portion of the frame. A leadscrew assembly including a first leadscrew and a second leadscrew having first and second pitches respectively is provided. The first leadscrew is threadedly engaged by the counterweight and the second leadscrew is threadedly engaged by the lifting assembly. The second leadscrew has a pitch that is twice the first leadscrew pitch.

摘要： An apparatus for use in transporting a sheet stack comprises a wedge-shaped sheet stack holder with a cantilever arm extending from the back of the wedge. A suspending tether is joined to the cantilever arm. A primary tendon extends between the suspending tether and a lever joined to the stack holder. A secondary tendon extends between the suspending tether and the cantilever arm, passing over a clamp on the arm. When the lever is retracted, the stack support is suspended by the suspending tether and the primary tendon. When the lever is extended, the stack is supported by the suspending tether and the secondary tendon, thereby driving the clamp closed. The surface of the stack support arm comprises a dimpled air table.

The clamp may be configured to actuate automatically upon operation of the hoist, through the use of a hoisting wire guided over or attached to an element of the clamp and also attached to or guided over an element of the scoop's bracket.

摘要： The inventive manipulator for heavy loads, preferably printing products in loose scale formation and wound up to form rolls, only has a single pivot pin (35) or joint which, according to the invention, is arranged in such a way that the load (5) can be brought into three main positions orthogonal to one another using this single pivot pin or joint. The load is held by a holding device (33,38). The pivot pin (35) passes through the center of gravity of the load, or the center of gravity is located in the pivot point or fulcrum. This makes it possible to grip in frontal or lateral precise manner heavy loads and subsequently to deposit same on a loading device or in a store without great force expenditure using a drive and/or manually. The invention is also characterized by the combination of an industrial truck (10), a lifting device (11) arranged thereon and a mounted implement (31-38) located on the truck and preferably constituted by the inventive manipulator.

摘要： A pipe lifting hook is provided having a generally "C" shaped hook member having an elongated lower portion being insertable within the end of a joint of pipe and having an upper portion positionable above the pipe and provided with lifting connection means. The hook member is frictionally clamped to the pipe by grip shoe means that is movably supported by the upper portion of the hook member and is selectably movable from a released position out of contact with said pipe to a locked position in frictional locking engagement with the outer surface of the pipe. A ratchet mechanism couples said grip shoe means to the upper portion of the hook member and is manually positionable to lock said grip shoe means at said locked position or release said grip shoe means for movement toward said released position thereof.
