Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a shoe part by injection moulding a material into a mould where an insert is placed. The insert comprises at least two separable insert parts, an upper insert part and a lower insert part, providing an injection channel in the region of the separation area between the two parts. The insert is placed in the chamber and the injection material is injected through a sprue channel in the mould into the injection channel and into a cavity, whereby the shoe part is formed. The mould is opened after the injection material has cured and the insert is separated into the upper and lower insert parts, thereby exposing the cured material in the injection channel.
Abstract:
A mould assembly for moulding two soles for two shoes 1 simultaneously and comprising an upper mould part and a lower mould part 16. The upper mould part comprises a first side frame 8 and a second side frame 9 and between them a middle frame 10. The side frames are adapted to be laterally movable in relation to the middle frame 10 and the lower mould part 16 The mould assembly comprises two cavities 15′,15″ for forming the soles. The mould assembly comprises force means 37 adapted to move the two side frames 8, 9 in a straight and linear movement towards the middle frame 10. The lower mould part 16 is adapted to being vertically movable in relation to the upper mould part.
