Abstract: According to one general aspect, a method of executing a web application installed on an apparatus may include executing, via a processor included by the apparatus, a web browser. The method may include loading, via the web browser, the web application. In some embodiments, the web application may include a manifest and at least a portion of a web site and wherein the web application was packaged as an installable entity. The method may further include managing, by the web browser, the execution of the web application. The method may include accessing, via the web browser, from a local storage medium one or more portions of the web site included by the web application. In some embodiments, the one or more portions of the web site may have been stored in the local storage medium when the web application was installed.

Abstract: Systems and method for implementing third party services in digital service platform are provided. More specifically, an application program interface can be provided by a first service provider to a second service provider. The application program interface can be configured to receive one or more access parameters and can be associated with implementing one or more services of the second service provider in one or more services of a second service provider. The one or more access parameters can then be received by the first service provider from the second service provider. Once the one or more access parameters have been received, the first service provider can receive a request from a user for access to the one or more services of the second service provider. The first service provider can then determine whether to grant access to the user based on the access parameters.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods that include or otherwise leverage use of a facial expression model that is configured to provide a facial expression embedding. In particular, the facial expression model can receive an input image that depicts a face and, in response, provide a facial expression embedding that encodes information descriptive of a facial expression made by the face depicted in the input image. As an example, the facial expression model can be or include a neural network such as a convolutional neural network. The present disclosure also provides a novel and unique triplet training scheme which does not rely upon designation of a particular image as an anchor or reference image.

Abstract: In general, the disclosure is directed to a computing device configured to identify and display information determined to be relevant to a current task. The computing device receives information associated with a content page for a second application, at least a portion of which is included in a graphical user interface. The computing device determines, based on the information, a context of the second application. The computing device determines, based on the context, a set of objects for each of one or more applications related to the second application. The computing device generates a content page for the first application including graphical indications of at least one object from at least one of the respective sets of objects. The computing device outputs, for display, at least a portion of the content page for the first application within the graphical user interface.

Abstract: A system comprises a network of computers comprising a master computer and slave computers. For a machine learning problem that is partitioned into a number of correlated sub-problems, each master computer is configured to store tasks associated with the machine learning problem, and each of the slave computers is assigned one of the correlated sub-problems. Each slave computer is configured to store variables or parameters or both associated with the assigned one of the correlated sub-problems; obtain information about one or more tasks stored by the master computer without causing conflict with other slave computers with regard to the information; perform computations to update the obtained information and the variables or parameters or both of the assigned sub-problem; send the updated information to the master computer to update the information stored at the master computer; and store the updated variables or parameters or both of the assigned sub-problem.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods that enable adaptive training of a channel coding model including an encoder model, a channel model positioned structurally after the encoder model, and a decoder model positioned structurally after the channel model. The channel model can have been trained to emulate a communication channel, for example, by training the channel model on example data that has been transmitted via the communication channel. The channel coding model can be trained on a loss function that describes a difference between input data input into the encoder model and output data received from the decoder model. In particular, such a loss function can be backpropagated through the decoder model while modifying the decoder model, backpropagated through the channel model while the channel model is held constant, and then backpropagated through the encoder model while modifying the encoder model.
