摘要: A liquid toner composition and a preparation method utilize a colorant, an organosol, a charge control agent, a carrier liquid, a dispersion assistant agent, and a photoreactive catalyst, in which the dispersion assistant agent is a polymer including an unsaturated functional group to cause photopolymerization in a presence of the photoreactive catalyst, and the photoreactive catalyst produces a free radical through an irradiation of light, and initiates the photopolymerization of the dispersion assistant agent. According to embodiments of the present invention, the toner organosol rarely affects the physical properties required of the liquid toner, and an offset error in a fixing operation is removed, resulting in an improved quality of a printed image.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a thin film material for encapsulation of organic or polymeric light-emitting electric device having light-emitting layer between cathode and anode, for elongation of lifetime of said device and for providing said device with flexibility, more specifically, to a thin film material for encapsulation of organic or polymeric light-emitting electric device comprising polymer having, as repeating unit of backbone, homo-, 2-component co-, ter-, or tetra-polymer of one to four pentaerythritol acrylate monomer, or physically mixed polymer blend of said polymer and polymers other than poly(pentaerythrithol acrylate). Moreover, the present invention is directed to a method for encapsulation of organic or polymeric light-emitting device using said thin film material consisting of wet and dry process. The light-emitting device encapsulated according to the present invention can be bended and can be used in the manufacturing of large surface area display.

摘要: A catheter having an elongated shaft with an inflation lumen and a guidewire lumen, a balloon on a distal shaft section, and a proximal intermediate port proximal to the balloon and a distal intermediate port distal to the balloon, the intermediate ports being in communication with the guidewire lumen and being configured to slidably receive a guidewire therethrough so that the guidewire extends into or out of a proximal section of the guidewire lumen through the proximal intermediate port, extends along an outer surface of the balloon, and extends into or out of a distal section of the guidewire lumen through the distal intermediate port. The balloon is inflated in a patient's blood vessel to perform a medical procedure, with the section of the guidewire extending along an outer surface of the balloon providing improved balloon retention at the desired location in the blood vessel during inflation of the balloon.

摘要: Medical devices or components thereof, and particularly intracorporeal devices for therapeutic or diagnostic uses, which are formed at least in part of a polymeric material and a ferromagnetic or paramagnetic material, so that the medical device or component thereof is visible on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans. In one embodiment, the medical device is a balloon catheter having an MRI visible balloon. In a presently preferred embodiment, there is an insufficient amount of the ferromagnetic or paramagnetic material within a wall of the balloon or coated onto a wall of the balloon to make the balloon radiopaque.
