Abstract:
A water treatment device, method and system with the water treatment device having a container for holding a water treatment material therein with the water treatment device including a shroud extending in a direction generally normal to a flow of debris laden water with the shroud inhibiting direct flow of debris into a water inlet in the water treatment device by directing water and debris over the shroud and around the water treatment device while a portion of the water can be directed laterally into the water treatment material within the water treatment device to thereby purify the water that flows over the water treatment materials with the water treatment device including multiple spaced and positioned water inlets so that the likelihood of the water inlet being completely obstructed is remote.
Abstract:
A regenerative water treatment composition and a process of making a regenerative water treatment composition by adhesively coating a first bacteria killing material such as a zinc carrier with a second bacterial killing material such as silver chloride for insitu killing of bacteria and a second bacteria killing material for killing and carrying away the dead bacteria on the silver chloride to allow the silver chloride to continue to kill or damage bacteria that comes into contact with the silver chloride.
Abstract:
A dispenser apparatus for cantileverly mounting in an off-line condition in an axially component of a water system with the dispenser apparatus carrying a water treatment composition therein that can be released into a water system with one embodiment of the dispenser apparatus including a pair of replaceable containers for holding a water treatment composition with the containers serially located so that the water flowing into one container flows into the second container with the second container removable from the first container so that the second water treatment composition can be replenished without having to replenish the water treatment composition in the first container.
Abstract:
Improved water treatment minerals and a canister with a divider platform for use in a dispersal valve to enable a fluid mixing stream to be bifurcated and simultaneously but separately treat the water flowing therethrough with water treatment compositions containing bacteria killing chemicals and bacteria killing minerals.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a method for effecting the redistribution of polycarbonate and polycarbonate blends utilizing a tetraorganophosphonium carboxylate salt.
Abstract:
A two phase floating dispenser for simultaneously dispensing chemicals into two different fluid mediums with the dispenser having a submerged portion and an unsubmerged portion to permit the transfer of materials between the fluid medium that supports the floating dispenser and the submerged portion of the floating dispenser and between the atmosphere surrounding the unsubmerged portion of the floating dispenser and the unsubmerged portion of the floating dispenser so that a user can simultaneously transfer at least two materials between two different fluid mediums.
Abstract:
The present invention comprises an automatic self-draining backflow prevention valve having an internal cylindrical resilient sleeve that expands or contracts in response to water pressure to coact with a two way valve that provides for automatic self-draining of both the water faucet and the backflow prevention valve when the water faucet is shut off.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a web corrugating machine provided with a finger holder assembly that is designed to stabilize and support a plurality of stripper fingers about a corrugated roller of the corrugating machine such that the respective stripper fingers are maintained in a stable and rigid posture normal to the axis of the corrugated roller. To achieve this, each respective finger holder is provided with an upstanding locking member that engages a side edge or intermediate portion of a support bar supporting the respective finger holders, such that the upstanding locking member of the respective finger holder acts to effectively lock the finger holder from twisting and turning from side to side about the support bar. In addition, each respective finger holder is provided with flexible attaching means that allows the respective stripper fingers to flex and is further provided with biasing means for urging the respective stripper fingers toward a normal setting.
Abstract:
A fast acting water purification system containing a source of silver ions which is suitable for use in personal or household water containers, where the non-potable water may contain halides or other materials that limit the solubility of silver in the non-potable water, with the purification agent including a source of silver ions and a compound containing a hydantoin ring increase the presence of silver ions in the non-potable water to a level sufficient to quickly kill harmful microorganisms in the non-potable water without the need to add additional biocides to the non-potable water or pretreat the non-potable water.
