    摘要: A system and method for facilitating separation of 3D-printed objects from build platforms. The principle of separation in the present invention involves a build platform configured to be removable or flexible or partially deformable, such that at least a portion of the build platform may be bent or tilted to separate the build platform from the 3D-printed object once the 3D-printing is completed. In some embodiments, a base assembly is adapted to magnetically move a build plate along a surface of the base assembly such that the build plate automatically self-aligns along a boundary of the base assembly and magnetically couples to the base assembly. In some embodiments, a build platform includes a flexible layer with a printable surface and a rigid layer coupled to the flexible layer so that applying a force on the flexible layer deforms a localized portion of the printable surface without deforming the rigid layer.

    摘要: The invention is generally a 3D printer configured for printing 3D objects using a high-viscosity photosensitive material. The 3D printer may include a fluid retaining assembly which comprises a rotating tank. A printing platform is situated in a manner such that a bottom surface of the printing platform makes contact with the printing solution in the tank. To facilitate printing using the high-viscosity printing material, a scraper assembly may be implemented in order to properly prepare the printing solution onto a surface of the tank. The scraper assembly prepares the material by scraping a layer of the material onto the surface of the tank for facilitating curing of the layer onto the printing platform.

    摘要: The present invention concerns a system and reservoir assembly for three-dimensional (3D) printing. The reservoir assembly includes a top frame that may be filled with liquid material, and a tensioned film being held underneath the top frame. The tensioned film may be air permeable and flexible, wherein surfaces of the tensioned film may be micro textured. A bottom frame is coupled to the top frame and secures a transparent or semi-transparent rigid substrate. A permeable substrate is sandwiched between the tensioned film secured to the top frame and the transparent or semi-transparent rigid substrate secured to the bottom frame.
