Modified survey data is produced by performing a subtraction of the predicted data representing the first multiple from the first survey data. 摘要: Methods and apparatuses for acquiring marine seismic data to generate images or determine properties of an interior section of the Earth using simultaneous marine vibrator sweeps and methods for processing the acquired seismic data. Phase of sweeps produced by the marine vibrator(s) are controlled to provide for removal of crosstalk. The phases between marine vibrator sweeps may be random or controlled to have a predetermined/desired phase difference. The predetermined phases may be determined to minimize the crosstalk between sweeps based on known seismic velocity of the survey area.

For example, in one embodiment, the method may include receiving a plurality of partial image partitions of a migrated seismic image, and stacking the plurality of partial image partitions such that a first image is generated. The method may also include aligning the plurality of partial image partitions based at least partially on the first image. Aligning may include adjusting at least one of the plurality of partial image partitions and generating a displacement field. The method may also include, based at least in part on the displacement field, stacking the plurality of aligned partial image partitions to generate a second image. The method may further include based at least in part on the second image, realigning the plurality of aligned partial image partitions.

Each of the first and second seismic sensors has a sensing element responsive to pressure and particle motion. The system may include one or more processors configured to receive a desired position for one or more seismic streamers during the marine seismic survey.
