    Abstract: An initial access method and an apparatus are provided. In the method, an RS set corresponding to an SSB is introduced. The SSB is sent by using a wideband and a wide beam, and an RS in the RS set occupies a small quantity of time domain resources through frequency division multiplexing and is sent by using a narrow beam. A transmit beam of the RS in the RS set is a refinement of a transmit beam of the SSB. Narrow beam training is completed by using the RS set, to find an optimal narrow beam pointing to a UE, so that in the method, time domain resource overheads of the SSB can be effectively reduced while communication efficiency is ensured.

    Abstract: This application provides an uplink control information transmission method and an apparatus. In the method, a terminal device obtains first physical uplink control channel PUCCH configuration information corresponding to multicast data and second PUCCH configuration information corresponding to unicast data. When first hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgment HARQ-ACK information corresponding to received multicast data and second HARQ-ACK information corresponding to received unicast data have a same priority and are to be fed back in a same time unit, the terminal device may determine a PUCCH resource based on the first PUCCH configuration information or the second PUCCH configuration information, and then send uplink control information on the PUCCH resource. The uplink control information includes the first HARQ-ACK information and the second HARQ-ACK information.

    Abstract: A method for sending hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement information and an apparatus are disclosed, and relate to the communications field, to specify a mechanism for feeding back information indicating whether a decoding result of downlink data repeatedly transmitted in a slot is correct.
