    摘要: A casting rod provides a reel seat with trigger mechanism having a depending arm to fasten a first rearward end of an endless elastic propellant device. The second forward end of the elastic propellant device is carried by a depending arm of a stretching mechanism that is selectively positionable on the rod at plural points spacedly forward of the first depending arm. A fishing line carried in ordinary fashion by the rod is fastened to the propellant device and projected with it, responsive to trigger motion, to propel the fishing line in predetermined trajectory at a distance from the rod. The propellant device remains interconnected to the end portion of a fishing line to there serve as a float or sinker depending upon density of that propellant device.

    摘要: There is provided a multiple-component tampon applicator formed from at least three separate components. A fingergrip having a reduced cross-section as compared to that of the barrel may be formed such that it is a separate component or is integrally formed with a barrel component. The reduced cross-section fingergrip provides exceptional grippability to the user. The multiple components may be formed from materials including, for example, biopolymer including starches and proteins, cardboard, heat shrink plastic, paper slurry, plastic, plastic tubing, pulp slurry, pulp-molded paper, or any combinations thereof. Prior to assembly of the applicator and prior to loading the barrel component with an absorbent pledget, petals may be formed on the insertion end of the barrel using existing processes and equipment. Alternatively, a separate insertion tip component having petals may be formed. This separate component may then be connected to the barrel component either before or after an absorbent pledget is loaded into the barrel component.

    摘要: A method includes providing a set of initial characteristic values associated with the semiconductor device. A first fabrication process is performed on the semiconductor device. Fabrication data associated with the first fabrication process is collected. At least one of the initial characteristic values is replaced with the fabrication data collected for the first fabrication process to generate a first modified set of characteristic values. A first value for at least one electrical characteristic of the semiconductor device is predicted based on the modified set of characteristic values. A system includes a first process tool, a first data collection unit, and a prediction unit. The first process tool is configured to perform a first fabrication process on the semiconductor device. The first data collection unit is configured to collect fabrication data associated with the first fabrication process. The prediction unit is configured to provide a set of initial characteristic values associated with the semiconductor device, replace at least one of the initial characteristic values with the fabrication data collected for the first fabrication process to generate a first modified set of characteristic values, and predict a first value for at least one electrical characteristic of the semiconductor device based on the modified set of characteristic values.
