    摘要： In accordance with some embodiments, a computer-implemented method is performed at a portable multifunction device with a touch screen display. The touch screen display includes a long axis, a short axis, a portrait view and a landscape view. The computer-implemented method includes executing a calendar application. In response to detecting the portable multifunction device in a first orientation that comprises a substantially vertical orientation of the long axis, a calendar is displayed for a first time period in the portrait view. In response to detecting the portable multifunction device in a second orientation that comprises the substantially vertical orientation of the short axis, a calendar is displayed for a second time period in the landscape view. The second time period is longer than and includes the first time period.
