One such technique includes receiving, at a first communication device, data associated with a multi user communication session between a first user of the first communication device and a second user of a second communication device, presenting, at the first communication device, a non-extended reality graphical user interface (GUI), the non-extended reality GUI including a non-extended reality representation of a virtual object included in the multi user communication session and a representation of the second user based on the data associated with the multi user communication session, and updating, at the first communication device, the non-extended reality GUI to illustrate an interaction between the representation of the second user and the virtual object in response to the data indicating the interaction.

摘要： A wearable computing system that includes a head-mounted display implements a gaze timer feature for enabling the user to temporarily extend the functionality of a handheld controller or other user input device. In one embodiment, when the user gazes at, or in the vicinity of, a handheld controller for a predetermined period of time, the functionality of one or more input elements (e.g., buttons) of the handheld controller is temporarily modified. For example, the function associated with a particular controller button may be modified to enable the user to open a particular menu using the button. The gaze timer feature may, for example, be used to augment the functionality of a handheld controller or other user input device during mixed reality and/or augmented reality sessions.

摘要： An augmented reality (AR) platform for the Internet of Things (IoT) is disclosed. The AR platform enables a user to associate AR objects with IoT devices. These associations may further enable a user to direct a control input to a particular IoT device and receive outputs such as sensor measurements or state information from the IoT device via interaction with an associated AR object. These AR objects may be perceived by the user via a client device, such as via an AR viewer or other human interface. The AR platform further enables users to create shareable objects that define an association among or between multiple AR objects and their IoT devices that can be shared with and modified by other users.

In an example, a user-specific machine learning model, for a user of an email application, may be trained based upon one or more interactions of the user with a device upon which the email application is installed. A determination may be made that an email message has been received by an email account of the user. A user-specific message interface may be generated based upon (i) the trained user-specific machine learning model and (ii) content of the email message. A notification of the email message may be provided for display on the device of the user. In response to the user selecting the notification of the email message, the user-specific interface may be provided for display on the device of the user.

In addition, the Application Platform application is configured to integrate the cross-platform application into the computing environment of the computing device by providing at least one launch point for the cross-platform application within the computing environment.

摘要： A device displays a representation of a virtual object in a user interface region that includes a representation of a field of view of one or more cameras. The displaying includes maintaining a first spatial relationship between the representation of the virtual object and a plane detected within a physical environment that is captured in the field of view of the one or more cameras. In response to detecting movement of the computer system that adjusts the field of view of the one or more cameras, the computer system adjusts display of the representation of the virtual object in accordance with the first spatial relationship as the field of view is adjusted, and, if the movement of the computer system causes the virtual object to move outside of a displayed portion of the field of view of the one or more cameras, the computer system generates an alert.
