Abstract: In the present invention, regarding a narrowband used in a subframe for transmitting uplink data, if a switch is made from a first narrowband used in a first subframe to a second narrowband that is different from the first narrowband, with respect to a second subframe continuing to the first subframe, a final one symbol of the first subframe and an initial one symbol of the second subframe are punctured and set as a retuning time to transmit the uplink data in the first narrowband and the second narrowband.

Abstract: In a base station, a transmission unit transmits a downlink control signal and downlink data assigned by the downlink control signal in a time unit including a downlink time resource for the downlink control signal, a downlink time resource for the downlink data, and an uplink time resource for a response signal for the downlink data. A reception unit receives the response signal in the time unit. A transmission bandwidth of the response signal is equal to or lower than a transmission bandwidth of the downlink data corresponding to the response signal.

Abstract: A base station (100, 300) is provided with a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter (109) transmits a downlink signal in a downlink transmission region, in a time unit that includes the downlink transmission region, an uplink transmission region, and a gap period that is a switching point between the downlink transmission region and the uplink transmission region. The receiver (111) receives an uplink signal in the uplink transmission region, in the time unit. Furthermore, a delay tolerant signal for which a delay is tolerated more than for the downlink signal and the uplink signal is mapped to within the gap period.

Abstract: A repeater generates repetition signals by repeating an uplink signal over a plurality of subframes. If the plurality of subframes do not include a transmission candidate subframe of a sounding reference signal used to measure uplink reception quality, a controller sets a first transmission format to all the plurality of subframes, and if the plurality of subframes include the transmission candidate subframe, the controller sets a second transmission format to all the plurality of subframes. A transmitter transmits the repetition signals using the set transmission format.

Abstract: A response signal in each subframe is multiplied by a corresponding one of components forming one of a plurality of first sequences orthogonal to each other. The response signal is also multiplied by a second sequence defined by one of a plurality of cyclic shift indexes and one of a plurality of third sequences orthogonal to each other. Among a plurality of resources, a resource associated with one of at least two first sequences of the plurality of first sequences is different from a resource associated with another one of the at least two first sequences. Each of the plurality of resources is constituted by one of the plurality of cyclic shift indexes and one of the plurality of third sequences.
