    摘要: An interference cancellation device comprises an input for a disturbed signal, a first frequency shifter, a bandpass filter, and a signal combiner. The first frequency shifter shifts the disturbed signal from an original frequency range to a filtering frequency range. The frequency-shifted signal is filtered by the bandpass filter. The filtered signal is supplied to the signal combiner which combines the filtered signal with the disturbed signal to substantially reduce the interference signal that is present in the disturbed signal. A method for interference signal cancellation is also proposed. Furthermore, a computer program product with instructions for the manufacture and a computer program product enabling a processor to carry out the method for interference signal cancellation are also proposed.

    摘要: A radio station providing a digital predistortion to be imposed on a payload signal is disclosed. The digital predistortion is usable as a digital predistortion for one or more of the transmit paths of the radio station. The radio station provides coupled transmit signals to be switched as a selected one of the coupled transmit signals along a common feedback path. A digital predistortion update unit is adapted to update the digital predistortions in order to linearise a transfer characteristics of the transmit paths according to a hierarchy of the transmit paths. A method of digitally predistorting a payload signal in order to linearise a transmit characteristics of the transmit paths is disclosed.

    摘要: A feed forward arrangement for linearizing a distorting element such as an amplifier. The arrangement has error correction means which produces an error correction signal that is combined with the output signal of the distorting element to produce a corrected output signal. A pilot signal is injected into the distorting element path so as to be processed by the error correction means and the presence of the pilot signal in the corrected output signal is monitored by comparison with the pilot signal so as to produce another error correction signal to adjust the error correction means. The pilot signal is advantageously derived from the distorting element input signal.

    摘要: A module for an active antenna system for receiving and transmitting radio signals sealed in a housing. It comprises a power connector placed at the outside of the housing for supplying the module with supply power; at least one micro radio for receiving/sending digital radio signals having a digital down-converter/a digital up-converter and a control signal converter. The micro radio converts the digital radio signals to analog RF (radio frequency) signals and vice versa and is connected to the internal bus. At least one antenna element is connected to the micro radio and an internal data bus for the exchange of digital radio data and control data is connected to micro radio and hub. By placing two or more modules next to each other on a frame these modules form an active antenna system.

A plurality of mixers in the signal paths converts the frequency of the radio signals between the first frequency band and the second frequency band. A plurality of local oscillators is connected to the mixers and a single reference oscillator can be connected through a plurality of first dispersion elements to different ones of the plurality of local oscillators through a plurality of first oscillator signal paths and to a digital signal processor.

    摘要: A filtering device comprises an analogue quadrature splitter together with a first filtering element and a second filtering element. The filtering device is adapted to transform filtering characteristics of the first filtering element and filtering characteristics of the second filtering element into an effective filtering characteristic present in an output signal at an output terminal of the analogue quadrature splitter. The first filtering element and the second filtering element comprise filtering elements of high accuracy, with a steep roll-off but poor power handling capabilities. Using a high power quadrature splitter it is possible to transform the filtering characteristics of the first filtering element and/or the second filtering characteristic of the second filtering element into the effective filtering characteristics. The present disclosure further provides a method for filtering RF signals and a computer program implementing the manufacture of the filtering device and an execution of the method of filtering.
