    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for controlling a radio resource of an electronic device are disclosed. According to various embodiments of the present invention, the method can comprise the steps of: receiving, from an electronic device, an assistance information message related to overheating of the electronic device using a first radio resource; transmitting, to the electronic device, a first radio resource control (RRC) connection reconfiguration message for allocating, to the electronic device, a second radio resource that has been reduced more than the first radio resource; receiving, from the electronic device, a first RRC reconfiguration completion message as a response to the first RRC connection reconfiguration message; and transmitting, to the electronic device, a second RRC connection reconfiguration message for allocating, to the electronic device, a third radio resource that has been expanded more than the second radio resource at a first time point after the first RRC reconfiguration completion message has been received.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided in which a base station transmits a synchronization signal (SS) physical broadcast channel (PBCH) block (SSB) associated with a master information block (MIB) including first configuration information for a first control resource set (CORESET) associated with a common search space (CSS). System information is transmitted. The terminal obtains MIB based on the SSB, monitors first control information for scheduling the system information on the CSS based on a first aggregation level, and receives the system information based on the first control information. A radio resource control (RRC) connection is established with the terminal based on the system information. An RRC message is transmitted to the terminal including second configuration information for a second CORESET associated with a UE specific search space (USS), based on the RRC connection. A control method of a terminal in a wireless communication system, according to an embodiment of the present invention, may comprise the steps of: receiving radio resource control signaling (RRC signaling) for a signal measured by a terminal; identifying a transmission interval of a signal measured by the terminal, on the basis of the received RRC signaling; identifying first information for forming a predetermined beam; and determining whether to change the first information for forming a beam to second information for forming a beam, on the basis of the identified transmission interval.
