Abstract: An electronic device is provided, which includes a housing; a first plate placed on the front side of the housing; a second plate placed on the rear side of the housing; and an antenna module arranged between the first plate and the second plate. The antenna module includes a first PCB; a second PCB having a material different from that of the first PCB and at least partially coupled to one surface of the first PCB in an overlap area; a first conductive line included in the first PCB; a second conductive line included in the second PCB; a first conductive pattern arranged on the second PCB and connected to the second conductive line; a first connection member for connecting the first conductive line and the second conductive line in the overlap area; and a second connection member for coupling the first PCB and the second PCB in the overlap area.

The electronic device may include: a housing; and an antenna structure disposed in an internal space of the housing, wherein the antenna structure may include: a printed circuit board including a plurality of insulating layers; and at least one first conductive patch disposed on the printed circuit board, wherein the at least one first conductive patch may include: a first side having a first length; a second side parallel to the first side, spaced apart in a direction perpendicular to the first side, and having a second length shorter than the first length; a third side extending from one end of the first side in a direction perpendicular to the first side, and having a third length shorter than a vertical distance between the first side and the second side; a fourth side extending from an other end of the first side in a direction perpendicular to the first side, and having the third length; a fifth side connecting the third side and one end of the second side in a straight line; a sixth side connecting the fourth side and an other end of the second side in a straight line; a first feeding point disposed on a first virtual line passing through a center in the at least one first conductive patch and configured to transmit and/or receive a first signal of a first polarization; and a second feeding point disposed on a second virtual line passing through the center in the at least one first conductive patch and intersecting the first virtual line at a right angle and configured to transmit and/or receive a second signal of a second polarization perpendicular to the first polarization.

Various other embodiments are possible.

Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing and an antenna structure. The housing includes a front plate, a rear plate, and a lateral member surrounding a space between the front and rear plates. The antenna structure is disposed in the space includes a printed circuit board (PCB) disposed in the space and includes a ground layer at least in part. The antenna structure further includes at least one conductive patch disposed on the PCB in a second direction and configured to transmit and/or receive first and second signals having a frequency between about 3 GHz and about 100 GHz. The conductive patch includes a first feeder and a second feeder. The first feeder is disposed on a first virtual line passing through a center of the conductive patch and forming a first angle with respect to a virtual axis passing through the center and perpendicular to the second direction, and configured to transmit and/or receive the first signal having a first polarization. The second feeder is disposed on a second virtual line passing through the center and forming a second angle with respect to the virtual axis, and configured to transmit and/or receive the second signal having a second polarization perpendicular to the first polarization. A sum of the first and second angles is substantially 90 degrees.

Abstract: An electronic device is provided that includes, an antenna structure including a printed circuit board including first and second surfaces, at least one conductive patch interposed between the first second surfaces or is disposed on the first surface, the conductive patch including first to fourth areas placed in a clockwise direction with respect to a first imaginary axis extended in a first direction on the conductive patch and a second imaginary axis intersecting the first imaginary axis and perpendicular to the first imaginary axis, and at least one wireless communication circuit that transmits and/or receives a first signal having a frequency between 3 and 100 GHz. The wireless communication circuit includes a first port electrically connected to a first position of the first area, and a second port electrically connected to a second position placed on an opposite side to the first position with respect to the first imaginary axis.
