摘要: An ink tank module used for an inkjet recording apparatus includes a plurality of ink tanks having substantially the same outside shape and integrated by being coupled together, wherein each of the plurality of ink tanks includes an ink accommodating section for accommodating ink and a supply port for supplying the ink to an inkjet recording head, the plurality of ink tanks are disposed so that the supply ports are disposed on the same surface and include a coupling member interposed therebetween and an annular film member for covering the plurality of ink tanks and the coupling member, and the ink tank module can integrally be mounted and dismounted on and from a holder on which the inkjet recording head is mounted. With this arrangement, since the ink tank module is arranged using the ink tanks, it is not necessary to separately design and manufacture an ink tank of a large capacity used for black ink which is consumed in a large amount, whereby the ink tank can be easily manufactured and the cost thereof can be reduced.

摘要: An ink tank is attachable to the attachment section by positioning first engagement sections at first fitting sections on the attachment section and then locking a second engagement section to a second fitting section of the attachment section by rotating the tank. The multiple supply ports are arranged on a bottom face of the tank such that the supply ports are on both sides of a center line in a width direction of the tank, and that distances between each of abutting centers configured to abut ink receiving parts of the attachment section, and the first engagement section side in a direction along a center line are mutually different. It is possible to avoid reception of a reactive force to the ink receiving parts at one time when rotating and attaching the tank, and to achieve stable attachment while suppressing excessive inclination of the tank at the time of attachment.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a fiber aggregate formed by fiber having reforming surface comprises the steps of providing a fiber surface having thermoplastic resin at least on the surface layer thereof with a hydrophilic processing liquid containing polymer having a first portion with more hydrophilic group than the surface, and a second portion having interfacial energy different from that of the hydrophilic group, and interfacial energy substantially equal to the surface energy of the fiber; orientating the second portion toward the fiber surface, while orientating polymer to the side different from the surface of the first group; and forming a fiber absorber by heating the fiber having the reformed surface in the step of orientating polymer to thermally bond the contact points of fibers themselves. With this method of manufacture, it becomes possible to enhance the uniform property of the fiber aggregate still more, which is formed subsequent to making the property of such fiber aggregate uniform per unit of single fiber or small aggregate existing in any one of stages before the formation thereof.
