摘要： A digital camera which allows to make thickness, height and width of its camera body small. The camera has a first optical member for generally perpendicularly bending a first optical axis of light coming from an object through a lens opening part, a second optical member for bending a second optical axis of light coming from the first optical member, and an image taking element having a light receiving surface for receiving a third optical axis of light coming from the second optical member in which the light receiving surface crosses the third optical axis of light. The third optical axis of light is included in a plane which is different from a plane including both of the first optical axis of light and the second optical axis thereof.

摘要： An image printer system that prints out images using image data taken by a digital camera and recorded in a recording medium and that saves the image data in the recording medium in another recording medium. In this system, parameters are set for the printing operation and for the saving operation before they are begun, and the two operations are performed simultaneously or in one sequence. The image data may be corrected for the printing, but the image data that is saved is the original image data.

摘要： A controller in which an actuator has a shape memory alloy (SMA), for controlling a position of a member driven by the actuator. 摘要： A camera having an image shift detecting function is provided with an optical system which forms a subject image, an image sensing device which converts light of the subject image into an electric signal, an image shift detecting sensor which detects a relative shift between the camera and the subject image based on an output of the image sensing device and a microcomputer which compensates for the relative shift between the camera and the subject image based on an image shift amount detected by the image shift detecting sensor. The microcomputer specifies an area of the image sensing device based on a direction of luminance variation of the subject image and the image shift detection is made by using only an output corresponding to the specified area.

摘要： Disclosed is a sewing machine system, including an electronically controlled sewing machine, and a data editing device. In a sewing machine, a plurality of sewing programs stored in a data recording medium are read, and image data indicative of a sewing pattern corresponding to each sewing program is generated. The image data is then transmitted to the data editing device. In the data editing device, a plurality of sewing patterns are displayed in accordance with the received image data. When one of the displayed sewing patterns is selected by an operator, a predetermined operation is applied to a sewing program corresponding to the selected sewing pattern.

摘要： A single-lens reflex camera comprises a taking lens having a zooming optical system, a finder whose angle of view is determined according to a focal length of the taking lens, and an operation member which is manually operated. In the single-lens reflex camera, the focal length of the taking lens is changed by driving the zooming optical system, and the zooming operation is controlled in response to an operation of the operation member so that the focal length of the taking lens is changed in the wide-angle direction by a predetermined amount. An angle of view corresponding to that which is seen before the focal length is changed is displayed within the finder.
