Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices related to mobility robustness in dual connectivity mode are described. In one representative aspect, a method for wireless communication includes receiving, at a master communication node, a first message from a first secondary communication node requesting a change from a first connection to a second connection. The method includes transmitting a second message to the second secondary communication node to request establishing the second connection. The method includes receiving a third message from the mobile device confirming a configuration of the second connection. The method includes receiving a fourth message from the mobile device indicating a failure of the second connection. The method further includes transmitting a fifth message to the first secondary communication node to report that the change from the first connection to the second connection is an improper change.
Abstract:
Described are methods, systems and devices for group-based system information (SI) communication to reduce reservations of preambles or RACH resources are the number of SI increase. In some embodiments, SI messages into divided into SI groups, preamble/RACH resources are only reserved for each of the groups, and SI request windows are implemented. In an example, an SI request window precedes each set of SI windows corresponding to a group of SI messages, and an SI request is transmitted only in an SI request window. The disclosed implementation may increase the efficacy of supporting a greater number of users, which may be ubiquitous in 5G implementations.
Abstract:
Provided is a data packet transmission method and device. The method includes: generating, by a first network element, first indication information according to a delivery status fed back by a second network element to the first network element, where the first indication information is used for instructing the second network element which has not successfully sent a data packet to a terminal to discard the data packet indicated by the first indication information. The present disclosure may solve the problem in the related art of unsynchronized data transmission in sending of a data packet to a terminal by a plurality of second network elements.
Abstract:
Described are techniques for providing, a quality of service (QoS) update from a control plane of a base station to a user plane of the base station based on a QoS event, wherein the QoS update includes information indicative of a mapping between a QoS flow and corresponding radio resources for user data transmission, storing, at the user plane, the mapping between the QoS flow and the radio resources, receiving, at the user plane, a downstream data packet of the QoS flow from a core network, and transmitting the downstream data packet in a downlink direction using the corresponding radio resources.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices related to the management of bandwidth parts (BWPs) by a user equipment (UE) or a base station are disclosed. In one exemplary aspect, a method for wireless communication includes establishing, at a mobile device, a network connection with a first cell; receiving, at a mobile device, a message indicating an activation of a second cell and a first bandwidth part to be used by the mobile device upon the activation of the second cell, wherein a bandwidth part represents a logical grouping of frequency bandwidth of a cell; performing, based on the message, a random access process with the second cell using the first bandwidth part; and switching to a second bandwidth part of the second cell when the random access process fails.
Abstract:
An AP group information processing method and an eNB. The method comprises: an eNB acquires AP group information of an AP group; and the AP group information is transmitted to a user equipment via an air interface downlink message of the eNB.
Abstract:
A method, device and system for controlling assistant information of user equipment are disclosed. The field of wireless communication technology is related, and the problem is solved that the system efficiency is reduced, for UE reports the assistant information inappropriately. The method includes: the user equipment acquiring a control parameter of assistant information configured by a network side; and the user equipment reporting the assistant information of the user equipment to the network side according to the control parameter of assistant information. The technical scheme provided in the example of the present document is applied to a LTE system or a UMTS system, which implements that the network side controls the UE reporting the assistant information.

Abstract:
Techniques are described for paging techniques. For example, a wireless communication method comprises transmitting, by a network node to a communication node, multiple sets of paging configuration information, where each set of paging configuration information includes a service type information that describes a type of network service, and where each set of paging configuration information includes one or more paging related information.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices for dual connectivity and carrier aggregation enhancement schemes in wireless communication are described. In one aspect, a wireless communication method is provided, which includes receiving by a user device, from a network device, an indication indicating i) whether a recovery operation for a first cell group failure is allowed and selectively indicating ii) an available transmission path for the recovery operation; upon a detection of the first cell group failure, determining a transmission path for transmitting failure information based on the received indication; and transmitting the failure information based on the determining.
