    摘要： A cap apparatus for use by a user to create a spiral wave pattern in hair includes a generally semi-spherical shaped elastic member having an interior face defining an interior cavity configured to receive the user's head, and a cord coupled to the interior face of the elastic member and oriented in a spiral circular pattern, the cord having a first end positioned on a central portion of the elastic member, an intermediate region that extends in the spiral circular pattern from the first end to a second end of the cord located proximate an edge of the elastic member. The elastic member is adjusted to place the cord's first end above a cowlick of the user's hair. Tension generated in the elastic member when placed over the user's head permits the cord to apply pressure on the head, thereby creating the spiral wave pattern in the hair.

    摘要： A heat activated form fitting hair cap to protect the hair and to retain hair products in close proximity to the hair. A loosely fitted hair cap is made from a heat activated shrink-wrap material that may be substantially moisture and gas resistant. The cap is placed over the hair, and optionally, secured with a variety of retention means such as elastic, drawstrings, or ties. Upon application of heat, normally from a hair dryer, at or slightly above the activation temperature of the plastic, the shrink-wrap material is activated and shrinks snugly about the hair. This effectuates both a protection of the hair, and a tendency to trap and retain hair treatment products that might have been applied to the hair. Options include pouches containing releasable hair treatment products on the inside of the cap and tear away areas to customize the size of the cap to the wearer.

    摘要： The present invention 10 discloses a convertible cape having a moisture impermeable body with straps 30 having at least one fastening member 32 positioned on at least one strap 30 distal end. The present invention 10 can be converted from a collapsed or cape-like form 22 to an expanded or bag-like form 16 having a cavity 38 therein. The moisture impermeable body is comprised of two planar sheets 58, 60 of malleable moisture impermeable material having spaced apart side walls 56 positioned between the sheets and connected thereto. The opposing moisture impermeable sheets have spaced apart side walls 56 which are connected at both distal ends thereby forming a cavity 38 having an open end 42 and straps 30. The open end 42 is sealed during processing having a means for expanding the parallel coplanar malleable moisture impermeable materials such as a tear strip or perforation 34 whereby the enclosure can be selectively expanded by removal of the tear strip or separation along the perforation 34.
