摘要： A dishwashing machine executes a washing or rinsing step of jetting hot water accumulated in a tank into a washing room. The dishwashing machine includes a heater for heating the hot water in the tank, a temperature sensor for measuring the temperature of the hot water in the tank, and a heater control unit for controlling the heater so that the hot-water temperature in the tank becomes a set temperature, based on the measured value of the temperature sensor. The heater control unit is capable of controlling the heater so that the hot-water temperature in the tank becomes a waiting temperature that is lower than the set temperature, in a quiescent operating state in which the washing or rinsing step is not executed.

摘要： A warewash machine includes a frame in part defining a wash area having at least one access opening, a lower housing at least in part defining a lower side of the access opening and an upper housing at least in part defining a top side of the access opening. The upper housing has an upper surface and a side surface extending downward therefrom with the side surface having a substantially fixed position with respect to the upper surface. The upper housing also includes an internal, upwardly extending arm receiving chamber located above the washing area. Disposed in the chamber is an arm that is configured to direct fluid into the wash area. A door panel is mounted for movement between a closed position for washing and an open position for inlet and outlet of wares. When the door panel is in the closed position, it closes the access opening and a top edge of the door panel is located proximate to a lower edge of the side surface of the upper housing. When the door panel is in the raised position, the top edge of the door panel is located above the upper surface of the upper housing and the lower edge of the door panel is located proximate the lower edge of the side surface of the upper housing.

摘要： An apparatus dispenses detergent into a warewasher from a reservoir wherein a flow control device controls the flow of the detergent. A sensor measures the electrical conductivity of water within the warewasher and produces a conductivity measurement. A controller operates the flow control device in a first mode in which the quantity of detergent dispensed into the warewasher is determined in response to the electrical conductivity of the water. If the conductivity measurement is determined to be unreliable, the controller operates in a second mode in which a predefined quantity of detergent is dispensed into the warewasher. The reliability of the conductivity measurement is determined based on the amount that the conductivity changes upon detergent being added to the warewasher.

A spray base for each spray assembly segregates recycled wash water from clean incoming rinse water. A hollow drum mounted to each manifold has side discharge openings. A ball bearing assembly mounts the wash spray arms for rotation about the drums. A conduit for the rinse water extends through each drum and connects with a spindle on which the rinse spray arms are mounted for rotation. The upper and lower spray arm assemblies are interchangeable. The bearing assembly is uniquely constructed such that it is automatically flushed with clean rinse water during each cycle of operation.

The two processes are performed alternatively to accomplish washing and cleaning of dishes.
