    摘要： A size-adjustable in-line skate having a base carrying a plurality of wheels thereon. An upper is secured to a top surface of the base and defines a heel portion, a toe portion, and diametrically opposed side wall portions. The upper is supported by a support structure that includes a heel cup and a toe cup. The toe cup is secured to the toe portion of the upper and slideably coupled to the base so that the toe cup can slide longitudinally with respect to the base. An actuator is coupled to the toe cup and travels therewith. When the actuator is translated, engagement members on the actuator disengage with detents on the base to allow the toe cup to freely slide between longitudinal positions to adjust the shoe size of the skate.

    摘要： An improved expandable shoe and inner assembly are disclosed. The expandable shoe includes an outer shell and an adjustable inner assembly is disposed within the outer shell. The inner assembly has a first board portion and a second board portion in overlapping engagement with each other and a control to adjust the position of the first board portion relative to the second board portion. The control includes a locking mechanism shaped to engage and hold one of the first and second board portions, a biasing mechanism to bias the locking mechanism into engagement with one of the first and second board portions; and an urging member having a proximal portion external of the shoe outer shell and positioned and movable transversely to a longitudinal direction of the shoe and in transverse alignment with the locking mechanism.

    摘要： A skate includes a boot that includes a heel portion and a toe box portion. The heel portion is disposed on a wheel holder frame that holds a plurality of ground-engaging wheels. The toe box portion is disposed slidably on the wheel holder frame and is slidable in relation to the heel portion. The heel portion includes left and right forwardly extending vamp sections that extend into the toe box portion. The toe box portion includes an inside surface that extends from a forward tip transversely and rearwardly toward the heel portion in a curved fashion. The vamp sections engage the inside surface of the toe box portion such that the vamp sections are flexed inwardly or outwardly as the toe box is slid on the wheel holder frame thereby varying the width and the length of the boot.

The arrangement provides for such interchange through utilization of a pair of rotatable cams which are utilized to couple the blade support to the toe and/or heel of the boot. Also disclosed is an attachment mechanism which can be used by the hands, and which requires no external tooling.

A track in the form of a T groove running longitudinally along the underside of the skateboard receives slide bars which in turn are fastened to the plates through the entrance or stem portion of the T groove, thereby enabling a friction locking of the slide plates to the T groove after desired adjustments have been made.
