The bottom plate 10 and the foot wrap portion 20 are integrally formed. The bottom plate 10 and the foot wrap portion 20 contain an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer material (EVA).

The relatively planar top surface of the coupling member is offset from the relatively planar bottom surface of the male component. The male and female components are non-releasable from a coupled engagement while under tension via a tension member.

摘要： A performance monitoring system and method for edging or near-edging sports includes a pair of measurement apparatus associated with each foot or of an athlete. Each measurement apparatus includes at least one sensor, adapted to cooperate with the corresponding foot or boot and the corresponding surface-engaging equipment to measure and provide at least force data exerted on said surface-engaging equipment. A data receiver cooperates with each sensor to receive said data and to communicate said data to a data processor. The data processor is adapted to determine from said data, for each sensor, at least the following derived characteristics: force over time, a peak force, delta time, and corresponding explosiveness. Feedback of the characteristics is provided to a user.

摘要： Articles of footwear (e.g., soft snowboard boots) that may be tightened from the rear side to enhance heel hold are disclosed. A lace may be coupled to a strap that extends along a portion of the rear side of the boot body. The lace and strap may be arranged such that, upon tightening of the lace, the strap is pulled toward the front side. Tensioning of the lace may cause the lace to be pulled inward so as to exert a normal pressure against the medial and lateral sides of the boot, resulting in the sides being drawn inward toward the shaft region of the boot. The lacing system may employ one or more tightening zones where separate regions of the boot may be tightened independently from, or simultaneously with, one another. For example, a boot that is configured to have two tightening zones may include a first lace arranged so as to tighten a portion of the boot including at least one of the rear side, the medial side and the lateral side; and a second lace arranged so as to tighten another portion of the boot, including at least part of the front side. As a result, various “zones” of the boot may be separately controlled, tightened independent from one another, as desired.

摘要： A cord locking system that allows easy, rapid, and effective locking/unlocking of any size or type lace in a single handed, swift motion. The device includes a pair of arms that freely rotate about a swivel point within a base housing in a scissors-like motion that lock teeth against the lace by using compression forces from a spring. The arms protrude outside the base for easy disengagement, using a mechanical advantage of leverage to work against the spring force at the teeth on the lace to disengage the lock. Lifting finger upward on the arms to disengage the lock so that the teeth open allows the device to slide up and down the laces toward the preferred location. To lock, let go of the arms as the spring force presses the teeth into the lace at each side of the locking compartment to both lace ends within the device.
