Abstract:
A handle for an appliance or furniture includes a movable handle bar and one or two rotational devices. The handle bar is attached to the housing or to one or more housings of the one or two rotational devices. A shaft of the one or two rotational devices is rotatably supported in the housing. A slide is movably and non-rotatably supported in the housing, and the slide is loaded by a spring and has a guide slot in which a guide pin of the shaft engages.
Abstract:
A home appliance includes a cabinet. The home appliance further includes a door that defines a penetration hole that is located in a front surface of the door. The home appliance further includes a handle. The home appliance further includes a handle link that is configured to rotate about a handle link rotating shaft that is located inside the door, wherein a portion of the handle link is exposed outside the door through the penetration hole and a length of the portion of the handle link varies based on an opening angle of the door. The home appliance further includes a link that is configured to convert a rotation motion of the door into a rotation of the handle link and that is configured to guide rotation of the door based on the handle link being restrained by having a variable length.
Abstract:
There is provided a solid fuel burning stove comprising a housing defining a combustion chamber and a door panel pivotally mounted to the housing. The door panel is configurable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The solid fuel burning stove is characterized by having a locking assembly comprising a lever pivotally mounted to the housing and having a hooked portion. The lever is pivotable between an engaged configuration and a disengaged configuration. The locking assembly also has a biasing member operatively connected to the housing and the lever and biasing the lever in the engaged configuration. The locking assembly further comprises a catch provided on the door panel. The hooked portion of the lever is engageable with the catch in the closed configuration of the door panel and the engaged configuration of the lever and is disengageable therefrom by configuring the lever in the disengaged configuration.
Abstract:
A mechanism for selectively coupling a first moving part with a second moving part. The mechanism includes and engaging member that is movable between a detent position, a uncoupled position, and a coupled position in which the load transferring surface is within the aperture. A biasing member biases the engaging member into the detent position or coupled position. The engaging member overrides the biasing force and moves out of the detent position into the uncoupled position when first and second moving parts move relative to each other. When the engaging member is in the coupled position, the first and second moving parts are coupled for movement together. One embodiment of the invention is a child safety door handle rotating on a spindle. Other embodiments include water faucets, stove or burner controls, or any other rotatable or movable parts.
Abstract:
A household appliance including a non-adjustable first door, an adjustable second door, and an adjustable third door. The non-adjustable first door provides a reference point for adjusting each of the second door and the third door. A first adjustment device adjusts the second door in a vertical direction until one of a handle and a top edge of the non-adjustable first door and the second door are aligned at a same height. A second adjustment device adjusts the third door in a horizontal direction such that a first gap between the third door and the second door is equal to a second gap between the non-adjustable first door and the second door, and adjusts the third door in the first direction such that the third door is level and a bottom edge of the third door is aligned with a bottom edge of the second door.
Abstract:
Door for a domestic appliance, in particular an oven door, having a front glass (10; 40) and a handle (12; 42) for opening and closing the door, wherein the handle (12; 42) is attached to the front glass (10; 40) by means of an adhesive without any additional fixing means.
Abstract:
A domestic appliance device with a light signal unit, a control unit, which is designed to interact with the light signal unit for outputting information by means of a light signal, and a carrier unit for supporting the light signal unit.
Abstract:
An oven door includes upper fixtures, lower fixtures and middle frames which are attached to a front glass of the door. One or more panes of glass are mounted behind the front glass and are spaced from the front glass. As a result, air can circulate through a space behind the front glass. In addition, a door handle is coupled to the front glass using a through-hole formed in the front glass, spacers formed on the upper fixtures, and screws going through the spacer and the through-hole, and into the door handle. Outside air introduced from a bottom of the front glass goes out through a side of a space contacting the front glass and thus cools only the space contacting the front glass. Since the heavy division members are supported by only the lower fixture, the oven door can be easily assembled and disassembled when damaged.
Abstract:
A latch for an oven door is provided. The latch includes a bar defined within a frame of the oven and a door rotatably mounted to the frame. A latch arm is pivotably mounted to the door and a handle is pivotably mounted to the door by an operator. The latch arm engages the bar in a first position of the handle with respect to the door.
Abstract:
A door structure of a microwave oven usable as a pizza oven, wherein a pan is coupled to an inner surface of the door such that the pan is integral with the door, and a handle is mounted to an outer surface of the door. The handle has various structures so that the handle is separable from the door or is hingably mounted to the door to move between a folded state and an unfolded state. The door structure may be configured to simultaneously open the door and eject the pan. The user can stably open and close the pizza oven door, using only a handle, under the condition in which the pizza oven door and pizza tray are not supported. The handle has a structure capable of effectively supporting the weight of the oven door while having a foldable structure so that the handle can be conveniently used.
