摘要： A winterizing cover for the skimmer opening in the wall of an above-the-ground swimming pool is flat and plate-like in shape and dimensioned to overlap and engage the pool wall around the periphery of the opening. A plurality of bosses formed integrally with the cover project from the outer face of the overlapping portion of the cover, and an equal number of holes, corresponding with holes in the pool wall around the periphery of the opening, extend from the inner face of the cover into the bosses so that the holes extend beyond the thickness of the cover without penetrating the outer face so that a leak proof cover is provided that can be securely fastened to the pool wall.

摘要： A perimeter skimming gutter for swimming pools is provided including a gutter conduit for disposition about the perimeter of a swimming pool and adapted to carry water at a level below a predetermined level of water in the swimming pool, a retaining wall on the pool-side of the conduit, over the top of which wall water may flow from the pool into the gutter conduit, and a plurality of narrow elongated substantially horizontally disposed openings through the wall at a height to maintain a predetermined water flow, the top of the wall being spaced above the openings at a height to retain the pool water within the pool perimeter at water flows, wave actions and surges up to a predetermined maximum, while allowing excessive water flows, wave actions and surges beyond such maximum to flow over the top of the wall into the gutter conduit.

The border region of the pool cover rests on the peripheral edge of the pool and is too heavy to be removed by a child of tender years. If one of the liquid containers inadvertently ruptures, the others will not be affected and the pool cover will be maintained in place.

摘要： A molded tub-like structure, with a peripheral flange, having an integrally molded, but externally rail supported, sliding surface projecting well above the peripheral flange thereof is disclosed herein. The tub and sliding surface are unitarily formed of comparatively light-weight thermoplastic sheet material. The slide portion is reinforced and structurally supported by a truss including a pair of tubular parallel support members or rails, upon which inverted channel-like side edges of the sliding surface rest. The rails extend from beneath the sliding surface upwardly through openings formed in elevated portions thereof, and they then extend downwardly and outwardly of the structure forming hand rails for a step ladder leading up to the top of the elevated sliding surface. The truss includes a plurality of transverse cross bars, at least one of which advantageously may form a step or step support, providing additional support for the sliding surface.

摘要： Collapsible, foldable unit pool structures, the assembly of which forms an enclosed pool, each unit comprising a portion of a fence and deck hingedly connected together, and in some cases a portion of a pool wall hingedly connected to the deck by a brace. A second brace hinged to the deck is bolted during assembly to the fence. The deck, fence and pool wall sections or portions fold flat for shipping. After each unit is unfolded to its erected state with the deck extending substantially perpendicular to the fence and with all pool wall sections abutted approximately perpendicular and bolted to their respective deck sections, the units are attached end-to-end to each other by bolting the underside of their deck sections together. A pool liner is attached to the pool wall sections over the abutment joints, the liner covering also the ground or any excavation utilized to deepen the pool.
