摘要： An apparatus for distributing and safely housing lipstick, the apparatus comprises a lipstick casing and an assembled refilling cartridge. The lipstick casing has a top cap, an O-ring connected to the attachment of the top cap, a hollow body including a retainer lip formed inside the body, and an end cap. The assemble refilled cartridge has a plastic cup, a s-cut sheath, a spiral cut sheath, and a cartridge end cap. The lipstick casing provides the slip free grip and housing protection for the assembled refilled cartridge and allow the user to use the fully assembled refill cartridge without removing the refill cartridge from the lipstick casing.

摘要： An apparatus and method for custom blending and fabricating lipstick to the specific demands of individual customers. The present invention provides a kit which enables a user to blend various pigments to arrive at a very specific shade, and then blend the desired shade with a specific base to result in a desired consistency of lipstick, and which also allows the blended bases and pigments to be heated to a liquefied form and poured into a mold for hardening. Upon cooling and hardening, a conventional lipstick case can be attached to the lipstick for removal from the mold and use by the customer. The present invention therefore not only allows a user to quickly attain the specific shade and consistency of lipstick desired, but also eliminates the time consuming and unsatisfactory process of visiting multiple stores having expansive inventories of variously shaded and textured lipsticks.

摘要： A case for a stick-type cosmetic preparation which enables selective protrusion and retraction from and into the case. The case includes a main body having an elongated bore dimensioned for sliding receipt of the cosmetic preparation therein, and a cover hingedly mounted to an end of the main body to open and close access to the bore. The case further includes a sleeve coupled between the main body and the cosmetic preparation that slides up and down a longitudinal axis of the main body in a manner contacting the cover, for opening thereof, prior to protrusion of the stick-type cosmetic preparation from the bore. A lifting mechanism is coupled to the sleeve for selective reciprocating movement of the sleeve and the stick-type cosmetic preparation in the bore of the case.

摘要： A swivel up package for a deodorant or antiperspirant having specialized sealing which prevents leakage of product, in either its molten or volatile state, during manufacture, shipment and storage by containing all of the product within or above the elevator. The preferred package has a body of an oval or circular cross-section with an open top and a closed bottom. The bottom has a centralized aperture adapted to receive a spindle having a screw shaft disposed within the body and a dial or handwheel disposed outside the body. Also disposed within the body of the package is the elevator having a threaded central hub that is in engagement with the screw shaft. The periphery of the elevator is sealed along the internal surface of the body of the package. Further sealing is provided between the hub/threaded shaft interface when the elevator is in its lowermost position. The elevator has a reservoir to receive molten product during the fill process. The seals are such that flow of air and molten product to the reservoirs is possible only through the top of the package. The volumetric capacity is at least as great as the volume intermediate the fill line of the package, filled in its upright condition with the product in a molten or liquid form, and the inner surface of a forming means used to shape the top of the product. There is also provided a fill/invert process for manufacturing a cosmetic stick-type product using the package described above.
