摘要： A chain tool has two members each having a first edge formed with an opening to be engaged with the opening of the other member so that the two members can be pivoted with respect to each other. Each member has an opposite second edge provided with a recess and also has a guide groove in communication with the recess and the corresponding opening, wherein the recess is lightly deeper than the guide groove. Each member further has a rib extending along the corresponding first edge and projecting into the corresponding opening to form a protruding portion. When the openings of the two members are brought into engagement, the protruding portion of each member is moved along the guide groove of the other member into engagement in the recess of the other member.

摘要： A cylindrical repair tool has each end configured as a handle, with each handle being separable from one another. One of the handles is provided with a shaft with a wrench, typically an 8 mm wrench that, when fully extended, can pivot 90°, which can move from a retracted position within the handle to an extended position or positions from the end surface thereof. At least two diametrically opposed LEDs are arranged on each side of the aperture through which the shaft can extend to illuminate and thereby facilitate repairs at night or under poor lighting conditions. On the side of this one handle, hex wrenches and a screw driver can be magnetically held or stored parallel to the shaft central axis. The other handle of the tubular repair tool is a two-part casing that can pivot open to allow access to a variety of tools pivotally mounted inside the casing. The tools can include, for example, a two-piece tire tool, wrenches, a chain tool and a combined bottle opener and wrench. The two-part casing also serves as a locking mechanism whereby the selected tool or tools can apply torque in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction.

摘要： The invention is a sloped apparatus for holding auto tires for the placement of chains around the tires. The apparatus has a pair of sloped surfaces each of which has a notch running across its width. At the top of the apparatus is a cup shaped surface for holding the tire once the auto is driven onto the sloped surfaces. Guides in connection with the sloped surfaces on either side fold back onto the device when not in use and provide for folding up of the apparatus when not in use. The underside of the apparatus contains storage compartments for the tire chain when not in use.

摘要： A tool is disclosed herein for use in chain link roller assembly and disassembly which includes an elongated lead screw having a threaded shaft manually turned by finger lever or wrench nut through a support member. A pair of jaw members operate as a movable vise having one end of a jaw pivotally connected to the support member and one end of the other jaw pivotally connected to a travelling nut in threadable engagement with the lead screw shaft. The midsections of the jaws are pivotally coupled in scissors fashion with their free ends terminating in toothed link engaging elements cooperating to releasably couple with spaced-apart chain links in a strand for releasing strand tension between the links when the jaws are drawn together by actuation of the lead screw.

摘要： An apparatus to remove a rivet from a chain saw chain. The apparatus includes a body with a recess in the body. A partially threaded opening is formed at one end of the body and extends to the recess. An anvil can be located in the recess. There is a slot in the anvil of predetermined width to contact a saw chain of predetermined pitch. A bolt is received in the partially threaded opening and a punch member is received in the opening. The punch member abuts the bolt to extend to the recess. Thus, tightening of the bolt extends the punch into the recess and the punch can thus be driven to break the head of a rivet in a saw chain. Preferably the apparatus includes a spinner to allow forming of a rivet in a saw chain. The apparatus is easy to use, easy to transport and, in particular, can be used easily on the job site.
